Well for starters he was probably angry she had got married out of the blue without telling him.Maybe he was devastated. Even tho he was not with her, to have her belong to another men means she is really gone.

I think he made an effort to be monogamous when his parents died, he got very religious and married Mani in 2001. I don't know how long it lasted but then he got with Tamar before they got divorced in 2006.

However, I do think that they did miss each other after parting ways and that compounded their addictions- at least that seemed to be the case with Vanity. Didn't Vanity's drug abuse pick up after Prince? I thought I read that she was doing drugs before him, but that after him, she went into overdrive with it. Her relationship with Nikki Six was a nightmare of round the clock drug abuse.

He gave her a white snake? Since Prince was into symbolismm, I had to go look up the meaning of white snake and if in a dream it means- good feelings, good intentions, and clean heart. BUT...in the urban dictionary, one of the meaning is penis. So take your pick on that one.

I also saw the clip of her presenting the award at AMAs and I wonder what was going through each of their minds at that moment. Afterall that movie and much of the music in it, was about her. I tried to see if he approached her first on the stage, but the video was a little blurry.
