Reports from fams/fans regarding the Paisley Park Tours/Museum Experience

On October 6th, 8th and 14th some very fortunate Prince fams/fans from throughout the world will be the very first to experience the Paisley Park Tours.

For those of us that cannot be there, please share your experience on this thread including, but not limited to, the following:

-Your overall Paisley Park Tour experience.

-The reactions of your fellow fams/fans during the Paisley Park Tour experience.

-The Paisley Park Tour GA experience and the Paisley Park Tour VIP experience.

-Your thoughts on "Prince's Favorite Foods: The Taste Experience".

-The merchandise available at the Paisley Park gift shop.

Thank u in advance for sharing what will undoubtedly be a powerful experience!

I'm in Minneapolis, got here yesterday. I have my VIP ticket for the 6th
Not sure how things are going to be today. The fact that they mentioned accommodating other tour date ticket holders worries me. Seems like it will increase traffic which may cause delays and then with larger tour groups might take away from the experience. I will post my thoughts of the tour as soon as I get back to my Hotel room.

I'm also interested in...

  1. Parking---- Is the parking garage empty enough everyone has a spot? Or is it a fight to get one!?

2. Belongings--- Do you carry your purse with you thru the tour, or do they make you put it somewhere? I planned on just carrying everything with me like normal. Phone and keys would stay IN my purse. But I did read that nothing would be allowed, and they'd have a place for people's stuff.

A woman named Chris was interviewed - it came through on my FB. Yes, his cremains are there in a PP-shaped container in the atrium.

I've been in tears the last 2 days. This makes it all do much more real. I live only 20 miles away from PP but decided to wait until the initial chaos subsides before I do a tour. I drove by just a few min ago and it's crazy around there. Much different than when I spent time walking around there earlier this year when there was zero activity around PP.
It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

Wasn't the purple lighting used when Prince was home? I wonder if they will now turn on the purple lighting every night since he is there.

I wasn't expecting that.

The fellow who created this urn was at the family memorial service - the second one. It could be that Prince left directions that this is what he wanted.

I'm a bit stunned tbh. Feel 4 those fans who were looking at it & were then told.
