I mean I get that this is cool any everything, but why screen something that's been seen a thousand times? Why not a concert that hasn't been seen? (Or very rarely)

I see you are in Australia. This has actually NOT been widely available in the U.S. SOTT was not issued on DVD here. There was a VHS. And I don't think it's been issued on Blu-ray here, either - though I could be wrong, as I don't have a machine.

Add to that, our DVD players and computers are a different zone than the available DVDs, except for the Canadian issue. So that's one reason why they are playing it, I'm betting.

So you probably have much better access to viewing SOTT in Australia than we do in MPLS. A very purple irony, no?

The main audience that would be attending this are Prince fans. Anyone that would be considered a Prince fan has seen this many times before, no matter the availability.
