See I'd move there. But there's an issue with that strange stuff on the ground.

I hope they're prepared with copies of SOTT music CDs, movie DVDs and any merch from that era to sell afterwards.

it was a disaster at first, with the lack of permits and so on, but right now they seem to be doing everything I'd expect them to do. Music school and working recording studio next, please...

Yeah, but it'll be back before long.

I'll be at the events in spirit though.

I am coming to the serious conclusion that Prince came from a partying family.

I'm being very serious.

For each era there are fans who either weren't born or missed the era's goodies, souvenirs, etc...which is why bootleggers get that business...and bootleggers can charge crazy prices cuz the official stuff isn't available anymore.

If the family offers those treasures officially, they take back the market from bootleggers.

Given the choice, would you pay a bootlegger 20x as much for something that's not official/authentic or the family for OFFICIAL STUFF?

Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I think they need to see what P has in storage that was left over from various eras, catalogue the items, save some from each era for family collections, sell the overage, then as the market calls for it make more of those already desired items in conjunction with reissues of music from that era.

I'm talking posters, TShirts, stuff from the GlamSlam days, jewelry, caps, bags, cups, guitar picks, tambourines, perfume, incense, candles, digital stuff with the riginal packaging, CDs, any and everything P ever approved for sale over his career...

wink

I'm with you, LBrent. This would be a great opportunity to spread more P love IMO.

For now. I had to run my AC today.
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

Well it kind of sucks if you have already been on the tour. We shouldn't have to pay for the tour every time we want to go to a PPAD event.

Pinch me. All the fun of being at Paisley Park, without Prince!! And you have to leave at 11pm. Will there be a person making balloons for the kids as well?

I hope that Prince's estate will gain rights for the Sign O The Times movie and get it released here in the U.S.on Blu Ray/Dvd with extra scenes. The Japanese import of the movie is really expensive.
