I work in bolton and tempted to finish early on Friday if I can get away with it. Living in Preston I'm thinking of driving to chorlton where the car should safe and then metro in - time tho is the huge question! And how many shows a night? Defoe more of a concerted effort on Saturday - but will that mean more fair weather or just going to see Prince on the off chance than on Friday. Maybe a £70 price tag will put a few off! Anyway. Only 5 more sleeps! Comin str8 outta Preston... |

Hi, i'd aim to hit Manchester at c10am. Desperate for it to be at the Apollo, great venue & perfect for 3EG set up + great memories of the ONA tour when he got me up on stage - YIKES!
Apollo is one of the best venues in Town seen a few good shows there The Prodigy being my personal favorite, the sound inside is brilliant, but Rudimental have it booked both nights

Oh my god! he got you onstage?! Wow!
Yeah, I'll probably get the Bolton to Manchester Airport train and get off at Oxford rd, theres a cafe there so I can grab a bite to eat on the way.
My boyfriend's dad wants to come too but he's in work on that day I think so I think he wants us to buy his ticket for him and he'll get there at whatever time.
Sooo excited!! |

So what does everyone think? Will one day be easier than the other or is it a case of swings, roundabouts and pieces of string...and will BBC or Granada be filming the queue in case I decide to rob off work, in which case I'll need to be getting a disguise. For some reason a Mexican rug and sombrero is is suggesting itself to me. Tequila. Hilarious. Jumpers for goalposts. Marvellous. Comin str8 outta Preston... |

If its anythign like the others I dont think you will be able to buy others tickets, they have just been giving everyone in the queue a number and only allowed to buy their own, I guess to combat touts etc... |

Im trying for Friday, think it might be slightly easier with the vast majority of people in work and will probabaly head down after work at 5/6pm if they work in town, everyone that i've spoken too (all the fake fans that are jumping on the wagon) dont really know what the crack is with the queuing and things so I think people who have been following the build up might be a little more knowledgable on when to go down and things. I also think ALOT of people will be suprised at the price so probabaly get alot dropping out the queue, cant see it being less than £50-70 [Edited 2/17/14 7:58am] |

Yeah I thought they'd do something like that. Suppose it just depends what time it all starts.
Haha, oh dear if Granada come and film I'd just die. I have a really bad habbit of putting on a fake scally accent whenever I'm filmed.

So surely the answer is to seed some people at the front of the queue from this little gang, tell everyone who asks the price it is £100, they'll soon stop queueing and the rest can stroll up later. |

I'm assuming Friday will be easier just for the fact that people will be at work and if not at work probably with family due to half term this week. |

The no ticket issue is not helpful. I am going to head over from Liverpool with a mate about 6 or 7 and see what's happening. If there are two shows I reckon it will be ok getting in quite late for show two. Apart from the hard core, people are not going to pay 70 pound, particularly if you are a couple of casuals and that's 149 before you gave bought a beer |

Exactly, I've told a few people it will be around £70 and all moaned about it, I can see alot of people in the queue being form other areas to be honest seen as there has been plenty of notice. One guy said "I wont be going if he doesnt do all his old songs anymore in full" yet called himself a fan. Couldnt make em up |

I've managed to get Friday off work too!
No doubt will be spending first part of the day on and org/twitter watch to decide when to join the q.
Still mentally can't decide if I want a small venue (more intimate gig but less chance of entry) or somewhere bigger.
Can't influence it so just gonna have to see how the day unfolds... |
