I did. The only thing I could think of was the second row are in section 2 where the first row might be off to one side or the other.

Good point, but after playing around with the selections I noticed when Front Row was selected a window popped up indicating 2nd row, so I think it's just a glitch/screwup that will likely be corrected by TM.

I called Ticketmaster....it's a glitch. Once you process it corrects itself. Got front row for Saturday and Sunday shows!

Damn, I am wicked jealous of you front row folks!!!

If it was only one show I'd spend the dough, but with three in a row I have to say no ... ain't easy tho!

ugh! I bit the bullet and bought first row for Saturday night. Ticketmaster let me exchange them (wish they didn't--but I am sure I will forget about it on Saturday). First time I called they said they had to email the venue, etc. like before. Decided to call back a couple hours later and was able to do it right away-I actually had to purchase them online, give the new order number to the man on the phone and then he cancelled the other order.

So now, section 6 on Friday, Section 2, row 1 on Saturday, Section 25 on Sunday. Better stop looking before I make any other irrational decisions! Funny thing is my wife, was just complaining because she wants Billy Joel tickets (I got them for her for Christmas--not that great) and she knows I got good seats for Prince, but not that good. Anyway she says, when you really want something, you don't stop until you get it .... how much did you pay for the Prince tickets, $85 or $90 a piece?

Better hide the bill when it comes! eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek eek

If anyone hears of any last-minute ticket giveways/contests for the Dec 29 show, please post! I live about three hours away and could go on the day of the show, but there is NO WAY I can afford these crazy ticket prices.

I know it's a long shot, but I feel like this show may not sell out, so maybe they will have a few tickets to dump.

Thanks!

Ill give P the benifit of the doubt here ....i dont know why.... but why the fuck would you put the front row seats on sale now when you know most of the diehards have already bought there seats... i def would have considered shelling out 470 for second row if i hadnt already spent 320 on sec 24...but what ever im goin to enjoy the show with the seats i got but still im kinda sayin like WTF!

I don't think P has anything to do with the ticket sale process, it's likely all between Mohegan & TM.

That yellow "Not Many Left!" message that came up on TM a couple days ago for Friday's show? It disappeared early yesterday.

And now pairs of prime floor seats (ie: Sect 5 Row B) are coming up for all the shows including Saturday.

And now the price for Upper Level NEAR THE STAGE (ie: 105) has been reduced to $142 for Friday and Sunday. mad

Don't mean to be negative, I just really hate deception and dishonesty and games and treating loyal diehard fans like this ... and again, I'm certain P has nothing to do with it. I'm guessing the casino is 90% responsible, they have a rep for this sort of thing.

So with his recent shows how have they been with their camera & cell phone policy? Will I be able to bring in a cheapo camera and take some pics or is that totally out of the question?

Not sure if they were reduced or not (section 105). Those are side stage and more "possible obstruction" seats so that may mean that they are indeed filling up. If you look at the chart, row A, especially the first several seatss are almost in the middle of the side of the stage, so probably not that great--thus the lower price. Actually, if you look at the more realistic chart on page 10, those seats are almost behind the stage on that layout. Also, it shows the best single seats for Friday in section 26, also "possible obstruction" so this may indeed be filling up. Not to say all those seats in sections 1-3 and maybe other areas that were never put on sale may still show up, but for now, based on what's available, looks like we may indeed be approaching a full house. Don't forget there has been a lot of publicity in the papers, at least in CT and in New England in general. Also, I think there will be a lot of sales in the couple of days after Christmas when people get their Christmas money and decide to go.

I may just buy those in section 105... I have Section 14 for Saturday. I actually don't think the map on page 10 is accurate. If you check lady gaga at mohegan sun, there's an interactive map. I don't see why that would be wrong since you get to choose the actual seats in relation to the stage. On that map, I can see where I am sitting and it's on the side, but near the front of the stage. Also, on yelp there are photos of people sitting in either 14 or 26 and it doesn't look bad at all- about as close as I can get without spending $400+ a ticket... I am hoping those resources are correct! biggrin

Wow, that's a completely different perspective. Sections 14 and 26 are the most expensive "platinum tickets" for Gaga. Who knows. Well, better to get them and be in the house no matter what. I remember for the Purple Rain tour in Detroit we were behind the stage and still had a great time.

I'd be surpised. They stop serving booze at 130 on Fri & Sat, 1230 during the week. Not sure if there are any venues that would work for an aftershow.

Spent an hour on ticketmaster trying 2 upgrade sec 5 ticket 4 the VIP ticket..venue doesn't do this! It's ridicules, willing 2pay more$ and not allowed. I wish I had waited till last minute, thought it would sell out so purchased tickets during first day pre-sale...never again.

Call back. I did it yesterday. Took two calls. The second guy canceled my order for the old tickets and I bought two new ones. I had to buy online while he was on the phone and then when I gave him the new order number he voided the other tickets and refunded them.

Funny now on Stubhub there are no tickets available in sections 1,2,3 any of the nights (except 2 in section 1 on Saturday). That tells you right there that the venue was likely selling them at inflated prices bypassing Ticketmaster. Looks like they pulled them now and I wouldn't be surprised after the VIP first and second row, probably tomorrow or Thursday, you will see another VIP front section offer of some kind at a price between the first and second row and the full price regular tickets. Anyway, I plan on recouping the cost of these tickets in the casino there so I should just go ahead and buy first row for all three shows! lol lol lol lol lol smile smile smile smile smile smile

Prince shows? Yup, 3 years ago ... no presale BS, no holding thousands of tickets BS, no changing prices BS. All tickets went on sale to the public at the same time, got my front row seats right away for Izod Center 12/17/10 (BTW $175 each) and chilled until the day of the show.

I completely agree with you, what a damn shame that venues such as Mohegan have made ticket purchasing such a nauseating ordeal, I bet P wouldn't be happy 'bout that if he knew what was going on.

Agree...totally...couldn't find a decent ticket through the presales and won't buy from scalpers. The tickets that were for sale were not ones for real Prince fams. Oh well, may the front seat tickets go to genuine fams, somehow someway. I would rather stay home than try to sit in nosebleed sections where folks sit and don't dance and sing like there will b no tomorrow.

Exactly, look at other concerts, now they have those interactive arena charts where you can pick whatever available seats you want. It is even like that for Mohegan sun with Lady Gaga. If they want to charge more for prime seats, no problem, that is business and they are out to make money, but this was nuts!

The average concertgoer buys a ticket and then goes to the show. Simple. They don't buy a ticket and then spend the next three weeks checking Ticketmaster to see what other seats are available then repeatedly calling Ticketmaster to arrange to move their seat. I've only heard Prince fans go on about this "issue".

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
