I'm looking at all the money Sam Presti is spending, and I'm saying to myself, why didn't he do this for James Harden? Am I missing something here?

Nope. Presti -- and more importantly, the owner -- is learning from his mistakes.

He didn't realize he was "fighting the last war" when he decided to keep Ibaka over Harden. He was focused on getting past the Spurs. Admittedly, no one saw what was coming in GS at that time.

He had a potential dynasty in the making and fucked it up. He's not going to the finals with his current group, that's for sure.

He made a bone head decision keeping Ibaka over Harden, the majority of these front office cats always outsmart themselves

Dwight Howard is heading to the Wizards after he clears waivers. He replaces Gortat, who they traded to the Clippers for Austin Rivers.

According to some of the NBA media Howard wanted to go to the Warriors but they didn't want him

I guess we can add Paul George to the list of stars who don't wanna play with Lebron, why else would he go back to OKC???

Would u really want to play with lestat? When u win, he gets all of the credit. When u lose, its all your fault. The teams run zero offense, just stand around and wait to see what lestat does.

Thunder to buy out or trade Carmelo Anthony, LOL. Who'd want him? He's a black hole on offense, doesn't play 'D', doesn't make his teammates better, and isn't a leader.....overrated 'superstar'.

I hope not. He's a ball stopper and a defensive liability. Great scorer but his game is anachronistic.

I'm checking out a little bit of Summer League action. My Cubs played earlier today (and lost), and not much else is on TV right now. I heard this is actually the first year that all 30 franchises are fielding teams for the Summer League. It's a way to break in the rookie draft picks and see some G League (NBA development league) and international players hoping to land some NBA roster spots.

If he was fair-minded, he'd give Durant the same crap he gives Lebron James. Durant was up 3-1 against a team that won 73 games, choked the series away, then joins them the following year. That would be like Isiah Thomas going to Boston after "The Steal" in '87, or Jordan joining Detroit after the crushing playoff loss in '90. Straight-up bitch move, but Graycap always overlooks that to take shots at Lebron. Being a Knicks fan, I could care less about Lebron - just be fair.

Trae Young lacks size, length & explosiveness for an NBA point guard. It's only summer league, but I think he'll have a hard time in the pros.

Anyone surprised the Bulls matched Sacramento's 4 year, $78mil offer to LaVine?

I don't think Trae will be the second coming of Steph Curry.....however, I do believe in the long term he will be OK. If he concentrates more on facilitating (he is exceptional passer), running the Pick and Roll and develop a better shot selection, the pro game will come a lot easier. At the moment from the games I have watched, its just not there yet, and a quad injury he got during the Portland game didn't help. But, he does have potential to be something special.

Nope, Lavine is a good player. The Bulls line-up does look promising for this season, providing they have chemistry and stay healthy.

Hell, that's most NBA superstars in the modern era. That's most title-winning teams in the modern era. Most dynasties don't last that long due to egos.

You think the likes of Kobe and Jordan were a joy to play with?

LeBron is arguably the most scrutinized athlete in American sports, but you say he's is not getting enough critical coverage? Okay.

Let's set aside The Decision, the critiques of his passive aggressiveness, and his moves as a virtual GM, which have been covered ad nauseam.

The media didn't talk about Jordan behind the scenes that much either and many segments of the media buys Kobe's alleged winning-above-all-else mentality despite loads of evidence to the contrary. The greatest are often the hardest to play with.

That's a matter of subjective opinion, which is fine. But it's not borne out by the facts. In 2017-2018, LeBron was second in the league in assists, while being in the top 3 in assists percentage.

He was in the top 10 in assists 3 of his 4 seasons with Cavs 2.0.

So I'll see your subjective opinion and raise you one -- Jordan was surrounded by better talent, and more consistent shooters. THAT's the real difference.

Lol.........Go talk to Jordan's ex-teammates.............then go talk to Lebrons.

Get back 2 me......

Lebron has 4-8 HOF / Allstar level teammates.

How many does does have? 2

Wade, Bosh, Allen, Irving, Love, IT.............better than all of Joradn;s teammates not named Pippen & Rodman.
