Paul George resigns with OKC.....4 years/ $137mil. Wow, didn't see that coming. Huge blow to Magic and the Lakers.

It's a done deal - 4 years, $154mil. If I'm Magic, I'd go for Cousins next.

Also, Chris Paul returns to Houston with a 4 year, $160mil contract. But the Rockets lose Trevor Ariza to Phoenix. That's huge.

The LeBron haters surely can't accuse him of ring-chasing. Although I'm sure they'll try, LOL.

You may be right. We'll know 12 months from now after:

(1) seeing whether LA adds any additional star players this summer or at the trading deadline.

(2) seeing how the current pieces, which won 35 games without LBJ, fit around him. He got to the Finals with the Lakers' castoffs, now he's playing with the Lakers' core of promising players.

(3) after GSW threepeats next summer, seeing whether another team -- maybe even LA -- can end the dynasty by prying away Klay or KD.

The Lakers needed to re-establish their star power and franchise stability. They did both with James, much like they did with Kareem 40 years ago.

Then LBJ wins 50 games for the rest of his career as players like Ingram, Kuzma and (if he acts right) Ball round into top form.

I'll take that. It's better than what Lakers fans have had the last 5 years.

I'm glad 2 see the Lake show back on the map.

I'm just glad I don't have 2 see Lebron in the Finals next year.

They are signing Rondo..........which is a GREAT move.

I think he will, maybe not this year, but in 2019.

Just read Lakers added Rajon Rondo, and they have renounced the rights to Julius Randle, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Truth. LeBron is on a better roster right now with the Lakers than he was with the

Cavs last season. No hate from me. These guys will be in the postseason next year

barring injuries.

$46M plus a bigger market, greater entree into entertainment ventures, merchandising sales, shoe sales . . . this deal is about huge $ for LeBron no doubt.

No. LAL will not make the Finals in 2019. They weren't going to before Boogie signed. They're not going to now.

But honestly, I see nobody stopping the Warriors next spring, even if they deal with injuries.

Let me clarify. I didn't mean the Lakers were gonna make the Finals this upcoming season but there also is no guarantee that the Warriors win it all because they are loaded on paper. As much as I despise the Celtics they have the roster that could cause the Warriors some problems. Believe that.

Sure, a fully healthy C's team causes GSW problems in 2018 OR 2019. But this current situation isn't the usual "on paper" situation.

This is a situation where 5 veteran All-Stars, ALL in their primes, on the same team, 4 of which just went back-to-back playing together. The 80's Lakers, 80's Celtics, 90's Bulls, or 00's Lakers and 00's Spurs didn't have more than 3 or 4 All-Stars in their primes playing together.

The failure of GS to win in 2019 would be an even bigger disappointment than 2016.

Even BEFORE Boogie signed, the C's would have had trouble getting the '19 Warriors to six.

PHI needs another All-Star-caliber shooter to match BOS.

Lakers need more 3-point shooting.

I saw that Julius Randle signed with the Pelicans - I think he'll be a good fit with AD.

Warriors are a shoo-in for the title next season....but will Klay leave for a bigger payday?

Clint Capela is going to meet with the Lakers. He is vital to the Rockets....they have to keep him by any means necessary.

How does Sam Presti still have his job? Didn't want to pay James Harden, but gave Carmelo Anthony $27.9mil.

LOL @ these clowns on social media who are upset about the Warriors dominance. The NBA's always had super teams, and aside from the bitch Durant, Golden State put their team together the right way. They have a solid front office that drafted smart and developed their guys. These other franchises need to get their shit together, especially the fucking Knicks, who've been a joke for nearly 20 years.

Nuggets trade Wilson Chandler to Philly for picks and cash.

Jeff Green to the Wizards.

Dwight Howard is heading to the Wizards after he clears waivers. He replaces Gortat, who they traded to the Clippers for Austin Rivers.
