the reason I liked Bad Teacher last summer is because it reminded me of that film! I love filthy Cam.

I still remember halfway into that film (sweetest thing), one woman took her teen kid and left the theater, it was the dick song. lol

I still can't say whether that film was good or dreadful, I only know that the nature, themes and style of the film were a complete turn off for me; and Lars Von Trier is probably the only guy in the film industry that I truly hate. I hate his f guts...

An amazing film, and even though it won a lot of awards, its a movie that often gets knocked, I don't know, maybe for being seen as sentimental, but its actually a very well depicted true story, as I'm sure u all know, of a very gifted autistic savant.

the extreme minimalism was a shocker for me the first 15 minutes or so as I went into the movie not knowing anything about it at all, but as it went on I found it had me more drawn to the dialogue and the characters development, which I believe is why I ended up appreciating the film. but as with most of my expereinces with Trier's work, I couldn't fully decide how I felt about it until the very last scene.

I enjoy these movies as well, its time for cable to run Urban Cowboy for 6 months. If they show U.C. 6 times on the weekend for example... if I can I'll watch it everytime. lol

Let me also add Elizebeth Taylor films of the late 60's. I don't care with anyone says these movies were good, Secret Ceremony was brilliant. I hope one day it's remastered and edited as the director intended it to be release.

Reflections In A Golden Eye

Secret Ceremony
