Speed Racer - Why this was panned by critics and the general public, I have no idea. It was awesome!

And The English Patient too. Despite all the awards for which it was nominated, no one else I know likes that movie.

The Idolmaker

Jaws 2

Under the Cherry Moon

Friday the 13th Part 2

The Blair Witch Project

Eddie & The Cruisers

The absolute worst one:

boxed Two of a Kind...Olivia Newton John & John Travolta's OTHER movie. I am totally embarrassed that I like this one but I do. boxed

Interesting. I'm assuming you mean too unconventional with the crazy colors and effects. That's what I like most about it. The big finish gave me eye orgasms when I saw it at an IMAX theater. love

The narrative style is also unconventional and follows through with the surreal mood and stylization of the cartoon. The crazy environments, the flashbacks, the pacing... all bizarre and not mainstream!

Mary Reilly

Julia Roberts is totally miscast as Mary

the movie is cut funny

But John Malcolvich saves the movie as the Dr Jeckl, Mr Hide character. He is sexiest when he is evil.

Robin Hood: Men In Tights (mj fans will kill me, I had no clue who directed it when I saw it in 94')

A Night At the Roxbury

Bringing Down the House (it was lame but I got a good laugh though no one around me liked it)

Men in Tights I watched so many times, it was silly and funny, very Mel Brooks. I don't get what folks didn't like either.

And A Night At the Roxbury, it's silly, I like it too.

The Blair Witch Project

I like this one a lot. The horror was more real than any of those over the top slasher films.

That makes sense. The only other person I know who liked it as much as I did is Anxiety. Both our tastes are definitely not mainstream.

I saw this in the theater when it was only playing in select theaters in the country. One of those select theaters happened to be down the street from where I used to live in Chicago. My roomate and I kept seeing lines outside the theater so figured we needed to check this thing out. Having NO idea what the movie was about it scarred the living crap out of us. We werent sure it was true, but it sure felt like it. Also I always think the scariest things are things you DON'T see as its up to your imagination to figure it out. Anyway, we told everyone we knew how scary it was...well the thing finally got a wide release and we heard nothing but crap from eveyrone about how dumb and NOT scary it was. I watch to this day and can't figure out why people hated it so much. It STILL gets me.

Speaking of things you don't see, I thought the first Paranormal Activity movie was very scary too. But that one is more highly regarded than the Blair Witch Project.

They're both genius works in my opinion, and Blair Witch was incredibly influential because it was so effective to many people. But there would not be a Paranormal if the writer director had not been inspired by Blair Witch! And he was.

Yeah I liked "The Blair Witch Project" especially when they finally find that small house after circling around in the woods for hours on end.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
