I know right. Urgh. That movie really did suck donkey balls. And all those corny flash backs of Mick got on my ever loving nerves. "Get up you summabitch, cause Micky loves ya!" Then Rocky looks up to the sky and all of sudden has this mysterious strength and motivation to fight Tommy Gun like he's supposed to. disbelief I love Sly but that movie was just too corny for me. I'd rather watch "Tango & Cash" and that was equally as bad. lol

To me Rocky VI was just okay, but it was just a "band-aid" movie to repair the damage and horror from V. I was hoping he would have brought Mr. T back for VI to help him train for that last fight. evillol But seriously, Sly should have stopped the Rocky franchise at IV.

yeah, that's true, VI cannot escape the fact that it's direcly linked to the dreadful part V...

personally, I ignore part V; I like to think that after part IV, Rocky just retired (Tyson being the new champ, lol!) and Adrian died during the late-'90s/early'00s so Rocky sold the mansion/opened the restaurant cuz he just couldn't live in that mansion alone...with the grief and the memories...

let's just forget part V...

spit You are killing me over here!!! falloff So you've just made up your own storyline in your head completely erasing V. Love it!

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

yeah, I love Rocky IV for what it is: an MTV-like sports movie, it has that "L.A. 1984 Olympic Games" flavour cool

Rocky V could have been great if Sly had focused on the training of Tommy Gunn and the rotten aspects of mainstream boxing, but sadly he focused on the "I'm broke" plot and that was pathetic, that destroyed the legacy of parts II, III and IV. Thank God for Rocky VI...

what no one hardly points out about rocky v...is his son lol ...how the fuck at the end of iv is that kid like 5-6 years old but by the time rocky goes 2 russia and flies back, the kid is like 13? lol

nah, Sly wanted his son in the movie, so fuck continuity, lol can't blame him for that, Sly surely had a great time acting with his own son; too bad that Sage's career never took off...

I love it when Rocky retired after his combat against Drago, when he flied back to the US and said "folks, there's nobody left to fight, so unless you need me to beat the crap out of some alien invaders, I'm going home; yes, this is it, bitches! ciao"

Ridley Scott and Dan O'Bannon didn't have a queen in mind for the first ALIEN movie. The eggs formed from cocooned victims that were still alive (actually there's no way Brett was still alive since a second mouth punched through his hat into his brain). A scene was filmed were Ripley discovers this happening on the Nostromo with the two vanished crew members. She burns it all. It's included in the version of the movie baing shown on cable this week labeled "director's cut".

Aliens was meant to be direct sequel, but it introduced some new elements that damaged the continuity a little...

I guess Prometheus will introduce MANY new questions/errors/retcons...

Well she was lost for 57 years and was not really a flaw at all, made it more interesting if anything. I wish they would do a preqeul to Aliens and show how the colony got taken over by the Aliens. Special Edition we do get to see more deleted scenes of the colony and it introduces Newts family.

Ok.... bare with me a second. So by Rocky IV logic Drago had like 1850 pound sin his punching according to the movie lol That could fing decapitate a mofo in a few punches. Rocky went through 15 rounds.... um... so Rocky should have been more retarded then he already was lol , so of course it makes sense in Joes logic he retired & Tyson became champ lol

I think there was something in Rocky V to that if he gets punched to many times again he will die & than he went a whole street fight and came out all he did was take piss & eat dinner confused

The movies logic are insane, Joes story makes more sense lol

Come on, y'all. There's some good stuff in Rocky V:

--The return of Mickey

--The whole "Don King" scenario, showing how crooked boxing is

--Adrian and Rocky arguing in the street ("Give it to your son!!!")

--My personal favorite...the scene when Rocky is walkng alongside Tommy's car trying to stop him from joining Duke.

--When Tommy punched Paulie...the look on Rocky's face...I remember sitting in the theater saying "Yo ass betta run, Tommy!"

Definitely the worst of the series, but it had its moments.

Rocky order:

1) Rocky (to this day, if I'm watching alone, I get goosebumps during Rocky and Adrian's first kiss, and I cry in the end when Adrian finally makes it to the ring)

2) Rocky II (YO ADRIAN...I DID IT!!! Nothing more needs to be said)

3) Rocky III (fun, but a little too unbelievable. Clubber would have murdered Rocky! And I never make it through Mickey's death without tears)

The others...I never watch anymore, but they each had their moments.

Speaking of Rocky II...this is a fan made trailer (the old trailers STUNK!). Found it a few weeks ago. Am I the only one who wants to go to te theater right now to watch Rocky II?

Another reason i hate Rocky V is Paulie-_-, he had pissed me off before but in that movie.. he fucked up BIG TIME. And they let him live with them???? NO kick his to the curb.

With that being said i adore Rocky II When i watched as a youngin i almoast got teared up at the end. Fantastic fight
