I think he has The Fountain with Hugh Jackman coming out this year. Don't know what it's about, though. And it looks quite a bit different from Pi.

I've seen that one years ago, very good! I've also just seen "Night of the living dead", loved that one.

What I'd like to add is this criminally overlooked Chaplin movie:

Monsieur Verdoux (1947)

I love this movie to death. The history behind this one is very interesting, too. It basically flopped, not just because of Chaplin's reputation concerning woman back then, but also the allegation that he was communist. The film is a very dark commedy, very cynical and critical towards society. People didn't want to see this from Chaplin (or at all at that time).

Short summary from wikipedia:
The film is about an unemployed banker, Henri Verdoux, and his sociopathic methods of attaining income. He has a wife and a child. While being both loyal and competent in his work, Verdoux has been laid-off. To make money, he marries wealthy widows and then murders them. This behavior eventually works against him when two particular widows break his normal routine.

Some more (also non-American):

One, Two, Three

That is a very cool pic. This thread is giving me so many good ideas on what films to look for. smile
