Springsteen is full of crap. And he is last person to get advice from . Have you seen the dog he is married to?

We are all "full of crap" to some extent, but - trust me, man - he's as real as they come. And as for "the dog he is married to", she's fucking hot! We should all look so good at 51:

It's a fact that most men do the pursuing, but that is what it is. And you know it. Women don't have the guts or were brainwashed when they were little girls that the men do that.

Yes, it's true that men still do most of the pursuing. But don't you see what I've bolded in that lyric? Dude, you cannot hit the ball with the bat on your shoulder; you are letting life pass you by while you're "waiting to catch (someone's) eye".

How are my views on women unrealistic? I want a hot woman and they are out there.

In the words of that old classic-rock radio staple:

Don't you draw the Queen of Diamonds, boy
She'll beat you if she's able
You know, the Queen of Hearts is always your best bet

Take it from somebody who's taken a roll or two with the former. wink

Yeah, but what if the Queen of Hearts is an ugo?

"I have never asked out a woman in my entire life". Well you are in the minority. Because most women wait for the guy to do it.

"You cannot hit the ball with the bat on your shoulder". I realise that and i have swung the bad planty of times. It's not easy putting your ass on the line and i need a break from it. Women would never understand because they rarely do it.

Enough with the "Man Up" stuff. You are avoiding the issue that the women are the ones that won't "man up". They just sit back.

How are my views about how i want to be treated by women skewed?

Then find one who isn't.

Well, bitching about it on a message board won't change that. Handclaps has hit the nail right on the head. To paraphrase both her and Bruce, 'Man-up and get up the nerve to make the first move'.

More wisdom from Da Boss:

It's a sad man, my friend, who's livin' in his own skin
And can't stand the company
Every fool's got a reason for feelin' sorry for himself
And turning his heart to stone

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I get the impression you're not crazy about the company in your own skin.

Can I ask you a question?: Do you have a good relationship with your family?

It may have to do with how I view women, among a few other things...they feel safe approaching me, that I won't misread them or disrespect their motives.

They also get tired of waiting... lol

Dude, I'd say they're more than skewed and more like fucked up when you don't have even ONE person on the Org that seems to agree with you or at least stand up for your ideals.

before you say yes, think of the media scrutiny that you'll come under. someone always taking pictures of you without your consent, reporting on what you're wearing, what you ate and with whom. digging into your background for juicy tidbits of information. all past relationships are fair game. could you part with the anonymous lifestyle you have right now to be in the limelight?

...No problem. smile

I've never asked a woman out in my entire life...they've always been the instigator each and every time.

Men may ask women out more than vise versa, but it's most likely due to the natural aggresiveness innate to males than it is to anything else.

As for the initial question, if it's Lucy Liu, I'll consider it...lol nod

Wow, so would I. Good GAWD.

It's interesting to know that these so called myths of men, and their sometimes limited view, actually exist out there.

I know what you are trying to do. But it's not working. My thoughts on women are not laughable. They are closer to the truth than you would ever want to admit. I come across the women all the time.

no
no you don't
you have no right to transcend your beliefs onto me to try and make me feel ashamed to be a woman.
see, me, and the rest of the women here on the org, are way out of your league.
and that's why you're making it a point to slander women
to make yourself feel better.

you're just mad cuz we're immanent and you're not.

You cannot use big words with him....women are much more verbally talented than men anyway. Spats is really just a dumb ass. Y'all... let's not get ruffled, he says this to be saying it.

I wouldn't get involved with anything where you can't see what they look like. And i have heard a lot of people misrepresent themselves on those things. Make themselves out to be better looking than they really are. Stuff like that. No different than blind dating which is another adventure i suggest people stay away from. I already gave an example of one of my disasters.

It is not something that I would invite in my life, but if I loved the person, it's a price I'd be willing to pay... I wouldn't do it just for the hell of it, I value my anonymity far too much to do that.

But if it was for love, well, I'd regret it if I didn't give it a shot...

Thankfully the love of my life, while being a superstar in my books, is not a celebrity and therefore this is not something I imagine ever been an issue for me.
