i knew it: you've grown soft and/or wuss-esque in the dating gut, therefore you get your friends to search out stuff for ya. d00d...man up. if you keep running into the same problem while looking for women, then obviously it's not them. it's YOU, perhaps.

A supermarket? Wouldn't that be weird? I would not want to be approached in a super market. And what would i say? I like your melons? Besides, i never see hot women in the supermarket when i am shopping. Just mothers with their kids, old people, a plain jane here and there. Nobody that makes you do a double take.

dunno where you live, but i always see a sexxy woman or two while at the supermarket. too bad they're all straight and/or taken, tho'. pout

Yes I would. I would just have to accept what comes with that type of territory.

I am not the one with the problem they are.

And i am sure as hell not a wuss. I have risked my ass plenty. It's the women who don't have what it takes to risk their ass. They prefer the man to do all the risking.

Well iI should travel out to your supermarket because there are no babes at mine.

HA! dude, how in the world would you know? remember, your friends do all the dirty work...you've had absolutely no involvement with the women you meet, save for getting the dates or whatever set up by your friends.

Hello? I told you that the reason i got my friends to set me up was because i did my share of risking my ass. I talk from experience. it's the women who don't know what risking your ass means.

Wise up? I did wise up. That's why i have the opinions i do.

I talk from experience. it's the women who don't know what risking your ass means.

oh fer fuck's sake, where do i begin on this one...okay, i'ma have a stab at it:

sure we know. we go out and look for dates as well. some women are just as wussalicious as you and have their friends track down dates for 'em because they can't simply deal, but those who have a solid pair of ovaries go out and do the search themselves.

we risk our asses too. mostly because we run the risk of meeting possible woman-beaters, rapists, serial killers, mama's boys, or most likely the usual plain ol' chauvinistic & pig-headed wastes of sperm/space. i ain't trynna say that all men are like this (indeed they're not...there's good fellas out there as well) but i'm merely saying...women put their asses on the line too. think about it.

Wise up? I did wise up. That's why i have the opinions i do.

damn....if this is indeed so, i'd sure hate to know your definition of "wise".

Women don't know. How many women make the first move on men or ask men out compared to men doing it. 95% of the time men are doing all the work. Taking risks my ass.

my mom asked my dad out. there, you've got one example. there're plenty more out there. do a bit of research if you gotta.

95% of the time men are doing all the work. Taking risks my ass.

and what say you about that mere 5% you ain't talking about, eh? btw, quit skewing the statistics in order to attempt to boost your sorry rebuttals. it's not working. at any rate, it's quite clear what's gonna happen with you, spats: when you die, most likely you gonna die alone and womanless. it ain't them 5% of women's fault, neither. it's all on you and your unwillingness to face the fact that you have totally unrealistic views of women and how to communicate/deal with 'em.

at any rate, it's been swell but the swelling's gone down. 'night, man. zzz

For Spats (and inspired by Handclapsfingasnapz):

"Man's Job" (B. Springsteen)

Well you can go out with him
Play with all of his toys
But takin' care of you, darlin'
Ain't for one of the boys
Oh, there's somethin' in your soul
That he's gonna rob
And lovin' you, baby, lovin' you, darlin'
Lovin' you, woman, is a man's man's job

Lovin' you's a man's job baby
Lovin' you's a man's job
Lovin' you's a man's job baby
Lovin' you's a man's job

Well now his kisses may thrill
Those other girls that he likes
But when it comes to treatin'
A real woman right
Well of all of his tricks
No they won't be enough
'Cause lovin' you baby lovin' you woman
Lovin' you darlin' is a man's man's job

Lovin' you's a man's job baby
Lovin' you's a man's job
Lovin' you's a man's job baby
Lovin' you's a man's job

You're dancin' with him he's holding you tight
I'm standing here waitin' to catch your eye
Your hand's on his neck as the music sways
All my illusions slip away

Now if you're lookin' for a hero
Someone to save the day
Well darlin' my feet
They're made of clay
But I've got something in my soul
And I wanna give it up
But gettin' up the nerve
Gettin' up the nerve
Gettin' up the nerve is a man's man's job

As for me, if they were super famous & LIKED being in the spotlight all the time, I'd have to really really REALLY love him to make that sacrifice. I don't wanna be famous, & I wouldn't wanna be forced into that life via my relationship. It would be too weird shake

Springsteen is full of crap. And he is last person to get advice from . Have you seen the dog he is married to?

It's a fact that most men do the pursuing. And you know it. Women don't have the guts or were brainwashed when they were little girls that the men do that.

How are my views on women unrealistic? I want a hot woman and they are out there. Now hoping to find a woman without the issues i can't stand might be a little unrealistic. But i am not putting up with crap. Just can't do it. And I have no problem communicating with women.

You are in denial about who does the pursuing.

Well then the choice of women out there is really depressing if you can't avoid their drama and issues.

drama & issues are a part of relationships in general. the only way to avoid the big bad drama mamas is, well...y'know....investing in a fleshlight or something like that.

your expectations of women and how they should treat you are totally skewed. that, and you're an absolute wuss when it comes to meeting/dating women. i'm beginning to think that you've been totally burnt by a past flame or something and you're avoiding it somehow. hmm

I've never asked a woman out in my entire life...they've always been the instigator each and every time.

Men may ask women out more than vise versa, but it's most likely due to the natural aggresiveness innate to males than it is to anything else.

As for the initial question, if it's Lucy Liu, I'll consider it...lol nod
