People have been beating that same dead horse about R. Kelly for over 20 years and it won't stop after he's long gone either. Talking and arguing in circles about alleged acts have done absolutely nothing. There are many other well known music acts through time who have done despicable things, publicly acknowledged them, had their lives chronicled on the big/small screen, and are sitting in the R&R Hall of Fame, touring the world and going about as they please, chalking it all up to "rock 'n roll". Not right, but it is what it is.

thumbs up! Also, no matter what he has allegedly done, it never affected his career. Last time I checked, Billboard magazine named him the most successful R&B male singer of the past 25 years. His current album isn't selling because album sales in general are down. He shouldn't take it personal or blame anyone. It is what it is. He had one hell of a run on the charts, much longer than most of his peers and most who came before him.

Allegedly?! Ha. No he did it. It's on tape. Just as there's actual record of 27 year old R. Kelly marrying 15 year old Aaliyah. This is concrete evidence. This is not an opinion. These are facts.

My goodness, some of you are really in denial about R. Kelly.

Anyway, yes R. Kelly is really talented and successful but those allegations have definitely damaged his career.

I remember this going on when I was a kid/pre-teen and I didn't understand why everyone thought it was him. Looking at screenshots of the video as a young adult, lol... It's clearly him in the video.

Also, I don't get why Michael Jackson is getting shaded in this thread lol. Jordan Chandler's dad was caught on tape saying that he was planning on extorting Michael for millions and the Arvizo family was known for scheming and asking famous people for money. I'm not gonna get too into it but the R Kelly case and Michael Jackson's case are day and night. But whatever lol.

He was exonerated and found NOT GUILTY in the court of law. He has EVERY right to request or demand not to talk about it,move on, and exit if brought up again. He handled himself professionally. She didn't & should be called on it.!

O.J was found not guilty too....along with Jon gotti a bunch of times. That don't mean shit.

Sounds as though we are set on "taking the piss out of the situation". lol I was not a kid when I saw that video and I knew that was some fucked up debauchery, especially after Aaliyah.

I had no clue about Aaliyah and R Kelly until 2015. I'm not a fan of R Kelly and I listen to very few Aaliyah tracks (not taking away from their talent, but I've never been too interested). I still don't understand how you get off with something when there's video evidence.
