Mistakes like fucking and pissing on underage girls... I'm not so sure if I as a father would consider that just a mistake. A mistake is if you stumble, and accidently bump into someone. A grown ass man with alot of life experience doing what he did, is NOT an accident.

Thank you! Don't forget R. Kelly married 15 year old Aaliyah when he was almost 30 years old.

It's astounding how many on the org make excuses for R. Kelly and his nasty ways but love to call MJ a pedo all the time. I can only imagine if there was video evidence of MJ like there is with R. Kelly.

Unbelievable.

Kellz is a great talent but he's a messed up individual. Stop making excuses. He's always had a thing for young girls. He's nasty. Period.

People have been beating that same dead horse about R. Kelly for over 20 years and it won't stop after he's long gone either. Talking and arguing in circles about alleged acts have done absolutely nothing. There are many other well known music acts through time who have done despicable things, publicly acknowledged them, had their lives chronicled on the big/small screen, and are sitting in the R&R Hall of Fame, touring the world and going about as they please, chalking it all up to "rock 'n roll". Not right, but it is what it is.

I actually think R.Kelly handled this with class and the interviewer was rather disrespectful. The reporter was unprofessional and if R.Kelly doesn't want to answer a question, he doesn't have too. shrug

The reporter definitely had a vendetta against him and was VERY unprofessional. He told her over & over that he wasn't answering anything negative and would walk out. She didn't obliged. He was respectful and handled himself very well. She even sweared! She should be suspended.

It's not the job of a journalist to oblige and only ask the questions the interviewee is comfortable with. It is her job to get the answers a lot of people are waiting for and are interested in hearing. She did nothing wrong.

Yes she did!!! EVERY entertainer has a list of questions they give the journalist that they won't answer. Even though I do think The R doesn't have a publicist to take care all of that for him. He took a chance. But even with that said. He specifically told her to STOP asking him negative questions. She ignored him & should be disciplined for it. She was acting like a self entitled B---H.

Just b quiet. U don't know what ure talking about. And if u wanna call someone doing their job a bitch, call them a bitch. Don't engage in the stupid practice of taking the 'ITC' out of 'bitch' as if it's less offensive or misogynistic. The journalist was as professional as the situation allowed. Newspapers would be empty, or full of nothing, if writers digressed at the slightest sign of resistance. Bob Kelly wasn't at a day spa sitting in a 'pamper me' chair. Bob was the subject of an interview and was justifianly expected to answer questions.

Yes, some interviewees set up an arrangement where both parties ahree that certain subjects won't be broached. U don't know if any such arrangement was made so ure just talking out of your ass in regards to that. To call the woman an unprofessional bitch based upon information that you don't have is childish at best, but definitely not any part of some 'masterpiece' or something.

I do take some slight comfort in seeing that Bob percieves questions about the sexual abuse of a minor(or adult) as negative. It seems to me however, that the journalist saw her questions as objective and not just simply negative for negatives sake. So if Bob wants to be a baby and skirt the issue by requesting no 'negative' questions, the journalist can do that while still mmaintaining the objective, and not necessarily negative, questioning as she did. Negative is subjective here. Asking a question that is tried to truthfully could lead to a very POSITIVE experience of hearing the truth. Getting to the truth of a situation is a good thing and VERY positive for a journalists.
If Bob doesn't wanna answer questions about pissing on little girls and statutory rape, the most effective way to achieve that is ...to NOT piss on people or engage in sexual behavior with MINORS. Pissing on people and statutory rape are definitely NOT parts of a MASTERPIECE.

Going forward Kelly's Reps need to tell interviewers what he won't discuss and that solves that problem ...The biggest loser in the interview is the Reporter...Some Celebs will be afraid she's gonna go after them as soon as they sit down...She has a job to do but the lesson she should take from the exchange is get "clearance" on the uncomfortable questions...The Celeb is suppose to trust the Interviewer and the Interviewer has to be careful playing "I Gotcha" cuz it could end NASTY....

thumbs up! Also, no matter what he has allegedly done, it never affected his career. Last time I checked, Billboard magazine named him the most successful R&B male singer of the past 25 years. His current album isn't selling because album sales in general are down. He shouldn't take it personal or blame anyone. It is what it is. He had one hell of a run on the charts, much longer than most of his peers and most who came before him.

Allegedly?! Ha. No he did it. It's on tape. Just as there's actual record of 27 year old R. Kelly marrying 15 year old Aaliyah. This is concrete evidence. This is not an opinion. These are facts.

My goodness, some of you are really in denial about R. Kelly.

Anyway, yes R. Kelly is really talented and successful but those allegations have definitely damaged his career.

The allegations DIDN'T damage his career! The R had SEVERAL hit records. Including ones he wrote for others, during and after the trial. In fact his career has flourished since. The only reason he's not selling this go around. Is because rnb muziq is NOT selling for ANY ARTIST right now.
