The Minneapolis show was fun. It was great to see Jimmy and Terry make an appearance on stage and talk about how it all began.

One of my close friends went last night! She couldn't wait for the rescheduled St. Louis dates. So her and her hubby went to the Chicago show. They had themselves a good ole time. She said that she was shocked to see George Lucas and his wife sitting there in the audience. She didn't know he was a fan. I had to tell her that Janet and George go way back. I remember he attended the Rhythm Nation album release party back in 89. She said that Janet put on a terrific show and was engaged with the crowd the whole time.

Anybody know why Janet just didn't play a big arena with 1 date instead of 3 dates at this theatre? Chicago is one of her best cities and she is coming back next year to play at the Allstates Arena there. She must really like that particular theatre. It's beautiful and vintage looking.

Sometimes it's just a matter of "I can be in Chicago these dates" "well it's already booked" because she did plan her tour with less of a lead up time. I'll bet there is something already planned at the larger venue you have in mind.

So basically that arena wasn't available at this time so she choose to play 3 nights at the theatre. Makes sense.

Janet was unbelievable in Minneapolis! The set list was killer, the energy was ridiculous, and the charisma she still has is just inimitable. I was smiling ear to ear the entire time.

She probably has about 1/3 of Madonna's tour budget (calm yo tits, I'm only comparing them because Madge was the last show I saw before Janet), but she doesn't need the extras. She chews up the stage with her moves and attitude, and every step she takes looks completely "connected."

Her all-female dance troupe was fantastic, especially the one with the white line down the middle of her face.

We were trying to think of highlights afterwards, but there were too many. If I had to pick something, I'd mention the sit-down version of I Get Lonely.

The museum was really cool. I didn't expect to see so much of her stuff in there. Also, her choreographers came in and performed Rhythm Nation for us which was totally sick.

Also, Janet and Wissam came in early on and said hi and took pics with people. Unbelievable.

I totally got what you were saying about the Madonna thing and I wasn't offended because it was basically a compliment to how great a performer Janet really is. She doesn't need all of the costume changes and gimmicks in order for her show to be great. That is what I love about this tour. Everyone who I've spoken to has had nothing but great things to say her show.

That performance of Shouldve known Better everybody around me were just silent and in awe. Amazing. Other than that I did like the chair dancing of When I Think Of You, Black Cat and the sit down set especially.

Ok, everybody knows the Jackson’s hail from Gary, Indiana. Gary is like a suburb of Chicago. Last weekend, Janet Jackson came home to the Chicago Theater and turned it into a homecoming party. Miss Jackson got right nasty and rocked it hard and heavy for more than 90 minutes jamming one “mega-hit” after another for a mid-west audience that represented every race, age group, and sexual orientation the windy city has to offer. The jubilant crowd sang, danced and jumped on their feet throughout the entire show, only to be matched by Janet and her entourage, also representing a variety of ethnicities; dancing and working HARD for more than a hour and a half. Age is only a number for Janet. She performed like her 20 year old self and was joined on stage by a couple of very young dancers– channeling their inner Janet. (Wonder if they had any idea?) Even when she slowed down the music with mellow grooves such as “No Sleeep” and “That’s the Way Love Goes” you could see her natural sex appeal, despite her attempts to tone it down by wearing clothing that covered her entire body. You can only block so much when your light is so bright. She still got it, she’s still leading the pack… still teaching. Thank you Janet Jackson for giving us 30 plus years of hits, for reminding us of the good times gone by, good times to come and for keeping us a rhythm nation. Her Chicago homecoming was amazing!

Yassss!!! Janet has toned down the sexiness within her show, but when I saw her in Orlando. She was still sexy to me. You either have it or you don't. And she definitely has it. And it didn't matter that she was fully clothed.

Janet Jackson has released rescheduled dates for the four cities she missed on her “Unbreakable” tour after having to postpone them under doctor’s orders. Last month, Janet was ordered on vocal rest, missing October dates in Denver, St. Louis, Kansas City and Salt Lake City. All of the new dates will take place in 2016. Jackson is currently wrapping up the first leg of the tour in Hawaii, before kicking off a 47-show run next year. Tickets from the canceled shows will be honored at the new dates, listed below:

Jan. 9, 2016 — Denver

Feb. 14, 2016 — St. Louis

Feb. 15, 2016 — Kansas City

June 29, 2016 — Salt Lake City

The fact that she is even doing this tour proves her dedication to her loyal fans. She doesn't need the money. Mj's spirit is shining right through her. She is carrying on his legacy of The Jackson family. With his REAL blood! I'm going to go check her out again next year.

But on the real. Janet is carrying her OWN legacy. I love Mike and the Jackson family. But this is Janet's legacy. She's had her OWN successful career. She is her OWN person.
