Teen CHOICE means that is who voted, not the age of the nominees.

Teen Choice implies that is who voted, I agree. Daytime hosts are on during school which most teens are required to attend. It wasn't a media circlejerk reward show, like the VMAs. It was a legit awards ceremony for these wonderful people and their talents.

Truth be told, even I thought that show was rigged. Give someone an award of popularity saying your teenage peers voted for them.

Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pharrell Williams and Tori Kelly are performing at the VMAs. There is also a special collaboration between A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots. MTV made the announcement on their Periscope account. There will be two special performers that will be revealed on the day of the show. The blacked out images make it impossible to guess who they are.
