Around the time when Madonna was planning the Confessions tour, fans were sharing ideas of how they thought the show should be.I came up with this idea where each segment would represent a different dance music era lol It looked sorta like this...

ACT 1---70s disco era----she performs several of her dance songs, but in a 70s disco style/reinvention...throw in a couple of actual disco classics (maybe "Stayin Alive" and "Ring My Bell"?)

ACT 2---early 80s New York nightclub scene----she takes us back to her Danceteria days with songs like "Everybody" and "Physical Attraction".

ACT 3---90s Rave/electronica/techno scene----she takes us to a rave...with songs from her electronica era..."Ray Of Light","Bedtime Story",etc.

ACT 4---"Future Disco"----she celebrates the COADF album with songs that show us where the future of dance music is headed.

I still think this would be a cool idea for a Madonna tour lol

Honestly though, limited the whole concert to just dance and club influenced music would be a bit boring. Madonna is seen as a dance artist but she always tries to incorporate other styles of music into her tours be it rock, folk, world music, piano ballads etc. I think that makes for a much more interesting show.

Also in terms of her themes she doesn't limit herself to just more contemporary pop things, but looks to historical figures, art, film etc. I think this would be kind of superficial and limited in just doing dance things since the 1970s. I think the wide range of influences is what sets Madonna apart from other pop stars.

All Of Madonna's Best Outfits, Ranked

Come on, vogue!

You can accuse Madonna of a lot of things, but playing it safe with style isn't one of them. This lady is known just as much for her bold fashion statements as she is for her killer vocal cords. Over the years, we've seen her in some pretty insane outfits, both on the red carpet and onstage. From her infamous Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra of 1990 to her Marilyn Monroe moment at the Oscars in 1991 to the suit she wore to the Grammys in 2014, Madonna always keeps us gawking.

In honor of the singer's 57th birthday on Sunday, we're taking a look at her best outfits over the years and ranking them according to badassery. Feel free to disagree with our picks, but you'd be wrong.

I don't like any of the Living for Love and Ghosttown remixes that I've heard.

Madonna Louise Ciccone was born on this day in Bay City, Mich. in 1958. She is best known as a singing recording artist under just the name of Madonna. Her relationship to her home state can best be characterized as ambivalent, but we still love her.

Madonna attended the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance before dropping out and moving to New York City to pursue a career in modern dance.

@purplepolitician - If you're looking for some rare/groovin' classic Madonna try to catch her version of "Love Won't Wait" too. A gem. Gambler is criminally underrated too.
