I think he/she made some very good points, and one thing I have to say about manufactured artists: while they're grooming one artist for sucess, they make sure the next one is always waiting on the assembly line.

I would love for that to happen. The only downside is that once her time is up, as anotger user said, another record label product will be ready and waiting on the assembly line to takeover as the next flavor of the season and get lauded as the face of a genre with only 2 hit songs and nothing else to their name.
