Love the packaging, booklet type

All available to order now from http://www.bbcshop.com/page/tabu, amazon, and digitally via itunes. Please note, as per earlier note the license has not been extended to North America

Tabu Records release strategy for the full catalogue based upon the rights that currently reside with the label. There are some releases where rights have now reverted, so our apologies if there is something you're looking for and it's not being released.

In terms of territories, at present the Tabu re-born re-issue campaign has been granted rights for physical and digital releases for the world excluding north America. As this changes we'll feedback, but officially there are no plans to re-issue the catalogue in North America at present. We're working hard to make the release schedule available physically and digitally to all territories where we have an agreement to release, which should be very soon.

As the situation changes in North America, we'll keep you posted.

pt-3001_600

A collection of spiritual and gospel songs performed in informal non-church settings between 1965-1973. Most are guitar-accompanied and performed by active or former blues artists. “Most records of black religious music contain some form of gospel singing or congregational singing recorded at a church service. This album, though, tries to present a broader range of performance styles and contexts with the hope of showing the important role that religious music plays in the Southern black communities and in the daily lives of individuals.” – David Evans, from the liner notes

Tabu Uk did indeed a great job with the designs of the albums. Would be cool to hear the remastered quality of Cherrelle's "Stay With Me" from "Fragile"

The scans of Bloodstone, Booker T, High Fashion and One Way look tight too!

Man, that's great! Her first two RCA albums are worth to collect. Wonder if those will have bonus tracks too. Gotta listen again to her third album on Motown.

Fantastic! The bonus songs are an extra treat to look out too.

"Gimme Whatcha Got" has some contagious synths mixed in there. The "woo-woo-woo" sound at the intro was done before on "Bottom's Up" in 1983.

THIS sista can SANG! Another forgotten one from Capitol, 1981 that had "hit" written all over it. The first single, " 'Scuse Me, While I Fall in Love" should have been HUGE! Remastered/reissued for the first time in 33 years by Soulmusic Records! Washington has been one of my R&B idols for years! v

The track listing, and other details around Paul McCartney‘s forthcoming Wings Over America deluxe edition, have leaked and – assuming they are correct – it is looking like we will be getting the following physical formats on 4 June 2013:

  • • A 2CD standard edition
  • • A 3CD+DVD deluxe edition
  • • A 3LP vinyl edition

The two-CD standard edition will simply be a remastered version of the previous CD release (in new packaging, of course) that turned the triple album into a two-CD set. The deluxe edition will add an extra eight-track CD of alternative live performances of songs already on the album-proper. A DVD completes the audio/video content of the deluxe edition and will contain the 75 minute film Wings Over The World. The Rockshow film is being released separately on DVD and Blu-ray.

Of course being the deluxe edition, it’s not just about the music and video. There will be a 136-page book telling the story of the tour (programs, pictures, memorabilia, lyrics, notes etc), 60 pages of exclusive photos of the tour from Linda, and 80 pages of vintage drawings by Humphrey Ocean.

Wings Over America track listing

Soul: Have you checked out Donna Washington's "Going for the Glow" reissue on Soulmusic.com from 1981? It's BANGIN' and it's a MUST OWN! She's produced by Chuck Jackson (Natalie Cole) It's on Amazon and it's pretty cheap! Spread the word so they'll reissue her first and last albums hopefully! Peaceout, my friend! smile

I was wondering why they were only charging $13.99 for double discs with all the fancy packaging and all? Now I understand why! Is the extended version of Cherrelle's "When You Look In My Eyes" a vinyl rip also? I was about to get rid of my Cherrelle ICON CD but maybe I better hold on to it a bit longer?mad

The label The Right Stuff reissued a series of Tabu albums. The remastered quality which I heard from Alexander O'Neal's selftitled 1985 album sounds awesome. I think a number of those US and European reissued

cd series from 2002-2003 are still available at payable prices.
