We should have more release date details on this in the next few days as we should hear back by then.

Real talk, bruh. I mean, they are really shucking and jiving, with "Feel Me" not being available domestically on cd. As well as "Style" and "Alligator Woman"(even though, i have it on import, most folks don't).

nod it's a shame,isn't it?

Feelin' u2! I've got "Alligator Woman" on import too, but I don't get why that has yet 2c domestic release. It IS shameful. Also lookin' 4ward to Meli'sa's "Good Love" and Nancy's "Music" and "Life." It's been YEARS. I belive Soulmusic is also gonna remaster/reissue her Capitol swansong, "Take My Love" from 1980. That's got a smoky, smoldering bluesy, Jazz ballad, "The Sadness in My Eyes," which is complete audio ECSTASY! smile

April Reissues from Soulmusic.com

Hopefully, this time, with the "Sing A Song" bonus tracks:

I was gonna ignore this Phyllis Hyman reissue, till i got word it's gonna feature a few tracks that got removed from the original album, by Clive Davis (Clive, you really do suck, man). So, i guess i'll be buying this, "Somewhere In My Lifetime" again. And i'm looking forward to this Meli'sa Morgan reissue. I'm kinda feeling,"once bitten, twice shy". on the Nancy Wilson's, cause i wasn't please with the last reissues they did(vinyl feedback had me annoyed).

Vinyl feedback? Which titles are u hearing that on? "This Mother's Daughter"/"I've Never Been to Me?" Just curious. Thanks! smile

This Mother's Daughter/I've Never Been To Me. This hasn't been the first time this has happened. Alicia Myers 2for1, had the same problem. They claim it was from master tape, but it clearly wasn't. I listened with headphones, and i heard it all lol !!! And i'm not the only one. A couple of friends of mine, had the same experience.

I didn't notice any vinyl feedback on the Nancy reissues. I'll have to go back and take a listen. The Alicia Myers "Alicia Again" CD, yes, definately. A couple of the songs were very poorly mastered. I couldn't tell if they were mastered from vinyl or an old cassette tape (or even an 8-track). I was told a few years ago that some of Alicia's masters are in very bad shape and Kevin McCord owns the ORIGINAL master tapes and, at that time, was refusing to let anyone have access to them. That's why the Japan reissue of "I Appreciate" was a vinyl rip. I know Alicia mentioned in an interview last year that there was still a pending lawsuit against someone for royalites she was owed for those recordings so that may have something to do with why David Nathan was not able to obtain original masters. I'm just guessing.

I'm going to definately pick up those Cherrelle titles and SOS Band III but I think I'm going to skip the Alexander O'Neal. I already have the original CD issues along with his remix CD so I think I have all my basis covered with him.

On the occasion of Sly Stone’s 70th birthday on March 15th, his life and the music of Sly & the Family Stone will be commemorated as the Artist of the Month for March 2013, by Legacy Recordings, a division of SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT. Legacy's celebration of Sly & the Family Stone will continue throughout the year.

The Artist of the Month program was launched by Legacy this year, with a commemoration of Janis Joplin in January, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of her birth on January 19, 1943; and a commemoration of Nina Simone in February, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of her birth on February 21, 1933.

In every case, the Artist of the Month program provides fresh perspectives on musical legends whose sounds continue to affect people's lives. The program enables new fans and deep aficionados the opportunity to focus on an essential figure in pop music history, whose principal catalog is a cornerstone of the Sony Music archives.

As a tribute to the far-reaching horizons of Sly & the Family Stone, the first hit-making interracial, mixed-gender band, a deluxe retrospective multi-disc box set is in production for release later this year on Epic/Legacy. Full details of the box will be announced in the months ahead, but it has been revealed that nearly one-fourth of the contents will be previously unissued material.

Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

warning : don't buy your disco CD's directly from goldlegion.com....

My order from august 2012 never arrived, 2 titles by Grace Jones..

very bad email communication from the company too.

Avoid gold legion, instead buy the (same) CD's from amazon, they usually have what's on their site in stock.

Never had problems there on amazon,

I am very disappointed with the "service" from gold legion... sad
