Whitney didn't blame Bobby!

She could have easily latched onto that bullshitting meme because most folks already wanted to believe it and her "people" made sure to never let that smoke clear.

That is perhaps until Jennifer Holiday and Chaka Khan got on CNN last night and brought that big ass gust of TRUTH with them!!

Folks that know better than that bullshitting meme, knew it, a long time ago.

I do not and will not believe Whitney Houston would not want Bobby Brown at her funeral because I know there is no way in fucking hell that Whitney Houston would not want Bobby Brown to be there, for Bobbi Kristina. At a time when their daughter would NEED HER FATHER the most!

I am really hoping and praying with all my heart that this shit we're seeing in the media today, is just our sensationalism addicted media doing what they do for their daily fix. neutral

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I always thought Bobbi Kristina was the spitting image of Bobby Brown but in this childhood pic of Whitney, Bobbi kind of favors her.

Isnt Christina 18 or 19 and living in Atlanta? If thats the case I think the best thing for her to do is go back home and be with friends. If this funeral ruckus is true then seriously she doesn't need to be around any of that drama. Sometimes friends are better than family, specially a family of enablers and shit stirrers.

If reports are true and the first thing Whitney's "friends" did when Christina got upset was feed her meds and booze to calm her down, thats not the type of people anyone needs to be around. PERIOD

I agree. I hope the story that her family is preventing Bobby to see Bobbi Krissy is untrue because that's just wrong. Somebody died for a different reason other than his presence. Her family needs to wake up.

It's certaintly apparent Bobbi's environment hasn't been the best. She's been shuffled around so much. I think Whitney said to Oprah that she stayed with one of her brothers while she was in rehab, Bobby & Whitney separated on more than once occassion even before the divorce...where was she then? She's seen the drugs, she's seen the arguments, she's seen her father cheat. I don't know. Both her paternal & maternal relatives have major issues and have struggled with addiction so it's not something clear-cut to me. Even with Michael's kids, as crazy as it may sound, I believe there's more sanity and stability. Katherine, Rebbie, Marlon, Jackie...I say the best bet would be let her stay with Cissy for a while but that's putting a lot on a woman who's almost into her 80s. She's done raising her kids.

I kind of feel bad for Bobby to be honest. Everyone is blaming him for her death not saying that their relationship wasn't a key part in her troubles. But they both had issues and Bobby's been clean for a while so it's kind of fucked up all around.

That's not true. Was whitney a witness at one point? Not that I recall so it's nothing wrong with prince speaking about it if he wants. JW's can talk to people who are not witnesses smh. And why does prince always have to comment... I can't.

this is why WHITNEY will always be THE VOICE.

this was track was originally written for Janet Jackson.

This was written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, who record as Boy Meets Girl and had a hit in 1988 with "Waiting For A Star To Fall." George and Shannon were a romantic couple, and secured a record deal with A&M Records after writing a batch of songs together and playing the Seattle club scene. They spoke with us about this song:

George: "They asked us to write for Janet Jackson's next record, so Shannon and I went to work and came up with our song How Will I Know, which was sent to Janet Jackson's people. They passed on it because it wasn't right for her at the time - she was in the midst of doing her Control album.

Shannon: "It wasn't right for that, but then our publishing company played it for Gerry Griffith when he was in Los Angeles gathering material for the unknown Whitney Houston. He loved it, sent it to Clive (Davis), and Clive said, 'We must have it.' And we said, 'Whitney who? Clive who?'

George: "Shannon and I had our first record deal, so we were caught up in Boy Meets Girl land, and the idea of writing for other people, this is pre-Whitney Houston and pre- our understanding of songwriting for other people, so it was really a big deal when they wanted to hold onto this for Whitney Houston. Then we started checking into it and thought, well, this could be kind of a neat deal. Our good friends, brother team Alan and Preston Glass, called us where they were working with Narada Michael Walden. They were recording Whitney Houston on 'How Will I Know' and they said, 'Guys, you've got to hear this.' They played it over the phone, and I swear, her voice, hearing the first take of How Will I Know on the phone we knew we were on to something special, too."
This is a very innocent song where Houston sings about trying to decide if a boy she likes will ever like her back. It went well with her wholesome image early in her career.
Shannon sang the demo, which was done in a sweet, light, R&B style suited for what Janet Jackson was recording before her Control album. Narada Michael Walden, who has also produced for Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey and Lisa Fischer, went to work:

Shannon: "Narada added his very punchy track and he did some rearranging on it and got us involved in some writing on the song. So it really was far more powerful than the demo we did and it sounded gorgeous and fun."

George: "He had an idea for taking some of the music of the chorus and making a verse out of some of it, and as Shannon and I heard it, we thought that sounded like a cool idea, and Shannon jumped right in on the lyrics."
The backing vocals are by Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston.

wow, I did not know that. That is neat to know. I will have to listen to this song carefully to see if I can tell Whitney's mom's voice

Whitney Houston’s tragic death on the eve of the Grammy Awards was a shock to the music community and the world. Her fans and colleagues have struggled with her legacy in the days since her passing, reconciling her one-of-a-kind talent with her battle with substance abuse and troubled personal life. In this week’s issue of EW, we explore Houston’s life, her influences, and how she will be remembered. At the Grammys, Houston’s impact was apparent. Bonnie Raitt, Diane Warren, and other major music industry figures spoke to EW about her influence on their own work and on the music business as a whole. ”She broke the glass ceiling for female R&B singers to cross over,” Raitt said. Houston’s music is what will live on. From “How Will I Know” to “I Will Always Love You,” we’ve compiled an ultimate Whitney playlist, featuring 25 of Whitney Houston’s best songs, as well as a collection of her life in photos. For more on Whitney Houston and our complete Grammys coverage, pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands this Friday.

Allison Samuels reveals to Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson that Whitney was behaving erratically on the days leading up to her death, that Bobbi Kristina was "protecting" her mother, and that she struggled with the end of her marriage with Bobby Brown and that Bobby actually called Arista Records to get Whitney to do reality show.

----

Allison said the hotel manager said Whitney had done skips around the hotel, was doing handstands at the pool and talking to herself and that Bobbi basically had to bring her back. confused Kinda explains her behavior when she left the club on February 9th. neutral

[Edited 2/14/12 19:03pm]

But the question is where was Whitney on February 10th? Okay yes as it mention above her last public appearance was on February 9th. She was found on February 11 at around 3:40pm PST supposely by her aunt Mary (after several story change later). Isnt that strange that her entourage claimed she was at some hotel bar Friday night drinking and having fun but this is Whitney Houston here she makes a scene and make sure she let people notice her, so the question is why havent there been reportedly videos or pictures of this took place, and plus fans were sighting around the hotel bar? And I read off from some other board that a fan who was at the hotel bar around Friday night (the same time where Whitney's staff said they seen Whitney) claimed they seen Bobbie Kristina but not Whitney.

Someting isnt right with this.
