No, it they were diverse topics it not the same. If you created an thread on Janet pre control ie songs acting personal life photos that would be a topic specific thread, to make you lump Janet Rythmn Nation in would defeat the purpose and focus
If you created a Janet thread about the Control years and then someone else created a topic about the song Control then I would lock the song thread and ask the person to contribute to the Control years thread. That's creating multiple subject threads.
I see it done in the Prince Music thread all the time. Someone will post a subject about the Batman album and then someone else will start a different thread about something they read in that Batman thread instead of just asking it in the Batman thread or start a totally different thread about the Batman outtakes when it could have just stayed in the original thread. That's creative multiple posts
No I didn't create 3 threads all on one page. What's with this one page stuff. If someone responds to a thread that is on page 15 it will automatically show up on page 1
anytime someone posts to a topic it shows on the first page if now one posts again within a days time it could end up on page 9. This is all really elementary thinking.

and a different on on 12.2.2011 2 albums in one
How do you define obsessive, I think what's obsessive is when people click on topics they don't like or topics by members they don't like and start trouble
No I would not be annoyed because everyone has different thing they like to talk about. If I don't want to talk about Beyonce there could be 5 there and I don't care because I'm not going to click on it.
Go look thru the posts page by page and see how many you didn't post in or how many NO one posted in. It doesn't make sense, it's almost like people want to control who you like or talk about.
If someone doesn't like a post or topic no matter where it's located keep it moving.
OK so I can start 4 threads on Alyssa Milano albums at the same time, as I would make each thread a different album LOL. Sure they will sink, but thats still fair game? This is not the Prince part of the forum, where obviously many different topics are talked about him on different threads. That is going to happen as you already stated and of course that is fine. But this is non-Prince.
The term "flooding" is a very loose one and many interpretate it in different ways.
I generally don't like seeing any artist with more then 2 threads on page 1. No matter what the specific topic is. Now Iam not saying this should be law, but simply, just go easy on threads about the same artist, no matter if it's a different part of their career or not.
No need to make a bit song and dance about it. Obviously Iam not alone in this. It's just general decorum around here. And don't say "how dare you dictate to me again!", as Iam just giving my view, not telling you what to do.
