It's better than most of the material on Hard Candy

I would choose "Miles Away","Heartbeat","She's Not Me"...even "4 Minutes" over this new song lol

So would I. barf

That was a really messed up mix of Toni Basil and Avril Lavigne.

nod Hopefully, the "finished" version will sound better than this demo.

"4 Minutes" isn't a masterpiece, but at least it felt like a first single. The way it starts off with Timbaland's rap then the remarkable 'marching band' sound...it truly announces that Madonna is back and this is her first single.

On this new song,Madonna tries to create that same hype with the cheerleading part but it falls flat."GMAYL" is the type of track that should be a bonus song on the deluxe edition of the album.

the sound of the record is definitely pop dance

not again. neutral

i guess her 80s albums could also be labelled "pop dance" but something tells

me this will once again be a shallow album with fluff lyrics.

you'd think she'd have something more to tell by now, after everything she's

been through in the past decade.

at this rate, i don't see her ever doing a really interesting album again and

writing some in depth lyrics.

in fact, at this point all i can see in her future is more silly chart music that's

instantly catchy and wears out within a month or so. beyond that she'll start

to date rocco's school buddies, probably.

disbelief

Her Confessions album was really good, I wish she would have worked around that style more that adult 1970's feel

I like the feel of songs like: What It Feels Like For a Girl, Little Star, Miles Away

Yeah, I couldn't get past the cheerleading chant. Yuck! It's already been donnnnnnne, I was expecting more I guess.

When Music was leaked, many people said she was just repeating herself and had no respect for Afrika Bambataa (I should know I spent days defending that song in many forums back in 2000) and that she should not record a song that would make her sound like Britney. When the first 30 seconds of the song Hung Up was officially released, many people have dismissed Madonna and said that she should not tamper with the ABBA songs. When the demo of The Beat Goes On leaked, Madonna was declared a has-been.

Looking back, Madonna’s career has been tagged as ‘over’ every single year since 1984. Every single album released called a flop, every new single called a desperate attempt to be relevant. Madonna is always hard on herself but it's us fans who are harder on her. Understandable. It seems fans want Madonna to be profound or to be a recording artist who will always have an artistic statement. She never told us that she wants to be any of those. All she wanted then was to be a STAR and one who will conquer the world. Remember we all fell in love with that girl.

Well she did become the biggest female recording star EVER!....and despite being popular and considered mainstream she was able to release songs and albums that are now considered some of the greatest in pop music history (the debut, Prayer, the first greatest hits collection, Music, Confessions, Ray and even Erotica).

As a fan, I'm really satiified. Since some fans are still waiting for critics to rediscover and reassess albums of their favorite artists and some are still waiting for their favorite artists to reach the 20-year career mark.

And with this song (which was confirmed as a demo by Guy Oseary)….this one song…..this one song from the many that will be included in the album….this one DEMO…some fans were disappointed. (Not me, since I love the melodic, fun, silly Madonna)

It will never be 1985 again in terms of sales or huge popularity….it will never be Ray of Light Part 2 or Music Part 2 or Like a Prayer Part 2 because she ‘refers’ but never repeats herself……it will never be a distinct Madonna sound because she doesn’t have a distinct or signature sound….but it will always be about that distinct Madonna fun, sexy, and sometimes corny (New York-Dork)and ridiculous (Singy-Singy-Singy-Wingy-Wingy-Wingy) vibe. For the real fans….two or three more months we will have the new album. Exciting time for us.

DrownedMadonna.com heard that the video shoot for Madonna's Give Me All Your Love - the first single from her forthcoming album -is tentatively planned for December 5-7 in New York City.
We have also been told that Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. will be in the video as well.At this point we don't know if the early leak of Give Me All Your Love will change this plan. Stay tuned to DrownedMadonna.com.

When Hung Up first leaked out, no one was saying it was brilliant on forums. They were all ripping it apart saying Madonna has run out of ideas because she is recycling an ABBA song. It was only in retrospect after it was all over the radio and clubs that people said it was brilliant.

They were right in the beginning. The whole point about hype and blanket coverage is that it manipulates minds and perceptions. If that reality weren't true then there wouldn't be any need for PR people and advertising. They exist because people's opinions can be manipulated and they are manipulated every single day. Video play, radio play, TV coverage, club play, print exposure. If you get these all sewn up then you've already won nine-tenths of the battle.

Yes, maybe but forums work the same way. In forums, people are seen as more intelligent and clever if they can think of some criticism to make than if they say they love a song. So forums always tend to have more negative than positive comments about any song by any artist. If you go to a forum and you see all these negative comments, that can also influence you to not like a song you originally liked. Yes, publicity can influence you to a certain extent but I don't think it can totally force you to like a style of music you hate. There are plenty of songs and artist that get tons of coverage but their records still flop. Publicity is part of it but not all, I would say it's 50%, 50%

Silly lyrics...Madonna has to grow up....Madonna has to be profound....ETC. ETC. ETC.

I don't think the lyrics to this demo is THAT silly. The Burgundy maybe...but

I see you coming and I do not WANT to know your name

I see you coming and you're gonna have to change the game

Would you like to try?
Give me a reason why
Give Me All That You Got
Maybe you'll be fine As long as you do not lie to me
And pretend to be what you're not

Do not play the stupid game
Cause I'm a different kind of girl
Every record sounds The Same
You've got to step into my world

In another place, at a different time
Can you be my lucky star

You have all the L-U-V
I Gave You Everything You Need
Now it's up to Y-O-U
Are you the one, shall we Proceed?

- Hmmmm....Lady who? Katy who? Pink who? Avril who? B who? Ri-ri who?
- And with Madonna's vocals sounding like she Lola on helium....
Simple message....Madonna is still and will always be the Queen. Not an attack to the current music scene...but a gentle reminder to the pretenders...and the so-called fans.

Instead of setting trends, Madonna has been reduced to following them. "Give Me All Your Love" certainly has flop potential. It will enter the charts with an embarrassing dud and plummet rapidly.

It's well known that Madonna's crotch grabbing during the 'Express Yourself' video was an homage to MJ.

She worked with Vincent Patterson on the choreography and asked him 'Are you the guy that got Micheal to grab his crotch in the 'Bad' video? Maybe I should do it." Vince said 'Why not, you've got more balls than any guy I know!"

What trend does the new song follow? I can see people saying that about the music on HC with Timberlake and Timbaland and the hip hop influence. But whether you like it or not "Give Me All Your Love" sounds nothing like what is currently on the radio.

Thanks Timmy and RKJCNE. I am just waiting for a new thread. The thread for the new album. Read somewhere that the length of the real version of this song is 4:58. Just part of the many rumours that usually accompany the release of any new M material. Really, really exciting.

Can't get that demo out of my head though, just like any other M song.So much fun.

If the final version is completely different from this one… I just wish those who bitched about this demo won't ever think that this happened because of their 'opinions.'

Madonna’s musical direction is dictated by her own instincts and vision for an album; and she would have never gone this far if she will just listen to all of us or the critics. If by now they don’t get what she’s been doing…then they never will.

We can give opinions on how bad or how good a song is…but now at this stage, let time, the fans of other acts, and the critics do that for us. The real M fans should just enjoy the ride.

The 30 years she has given us won’t be destroyed even if she decides to cover Britney, Katy or Rihanna songs (which you know she wouldn’t do).

I never understand why people say that Madonna should be setting trends instead of following them. What more trends could she possibly set? How much more ground can she break? lol This lady has done it all, there's nowhere else to go.If we look around,we can see that nobody is breaking any new ground these days.

Very catchy song. I liked it

It sounds like late 70s or early 80s New Wave music.

And I feel like I heard a Toni Basil sort of influence in the song- with Hey Mickey.

This is light years ahead of Hard Candy's sound.
