Randy's still on Idol anyways.

Really? I don't watch it now much. I saw LA in Randy's seat and just assumed he took over.

Sure. Feed his ego some more. He's a great producer, but on the whole aside of this, he sucks. I can't nor ever could stand his overcompensation for lack of attention. There have been much more gifted Hip Hop moguls than his whiney little bitch-ass.

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

LOL!

Haters gonna' hate, but I can, honestly, say that I have skipped through way less songs from a Kanye album than I have from any Prince album I ever listened to. When I am able to muster up the tolerance to sit through one of his albums, sometimes I swear that the songs are really long. Come to find out that I've, actually, just went through more than half of the album already. I have never had that experience with a kanye album, ever. The fact that Kanye isn't even that good of a rapper doesn't even bother me that much, because I always think that the production is excellent. Also, I appreciate Kanye's artistic vision. I have heard he was a complete pain in the ass to work with, but I can't complain about the outcome.

The best music material is like that. Production is nothing compared to shear talent. Can Kanye play an instrument? No. Does Kanye make his own music? No. Prince is a thousand times greater than Kanye and Kanye can't surpass or match Prince in any major or small music competetion. What is Kanye? A bad rapper with good production. What is Prince? A genius.

I feel ya. I know its all production and that Ye isn't exactly pickin up the axe or hitting the keys creating songs, but for what he does do, its really creative and exciting to me. That may not mean much to hip-hop haters but nevertheless he has sampled and created something that's good listening.

It's good listening but not nearly as amazing and genius and creative as Prince

But Kanye's 2000-2010 output has outdone Princes'. Im going to purple hell for that but the devil wont say I was a lie at least.

I don't think other than TRC material and F.U.N.K., Prince hasn't done anything amazing or genius 2000-2010.

Maybe in your opinion, but not for me. When I listen to an album or a collection of songs, I would like for each song to have it's own distinct personality as opposed to everything sounding the same as the last 10 songs I just listened to. In other words, I would like to be able to tell the songs on the album apart. It heightens my enjoyment of the work. Imo, Prince has like...maybe 2-3 songs that might be like that p/album. In some cases it's usually the singles, sad to say.

Also, you may be right. Prince can play a lot of instruments, write his own music, and etc., but that's not what I was talking about. I was talking about creating really good studio albums. I enjoy Kanye's way more than Prince's so in that respect Kanye >>>>>>>>>>>>Prince. (That invcludes album covers too. Well...baring the Purple Rain cover...maybe.)

I will say that a Prince's GH album >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kanye's GH album though.

Prince and other artists music are amazing that, you can listen to a whole album flow smoothly or you can pinpoint one song and have it sound amazing on it's own

What you should've said is "I prefer Kanye as a producer to Prince." Claiming Kanye "surpassed" Prince as a producer only based on the fact that you happen to prefer Kanye's style is quite immature. I like Kanye but I happen to think that most of his songs sound way too similar. So
