A small story from the NYPost dating back from December 1998:

Dec 21, 1998 -

SOMETIMES Michael Jackson can be so darned normal you have to wonder if all that Wacko Jackson stuff isn't just a publicity stunt that has gotten way out of hand.
Take the play date on which the Gloved One took baby daughter Paris with the youngest children of hotel heir Rick and Kathy Hilton the other day.
The pop star was staying at his Trump Tower digs and doing some holiday shopping when he decided to drop in on the Hilton kids 9 year old Baron and Conrad, 4.
They were thrilled and have been telling all their parents friends about it ever since .

It seems Michael was lots of fun. The reputed germaphile wasn't wearing a surgical mask wasn't heavily made up, wasn't even decked out in one of his toy soldier uniforms. He turned up in Gucci loafers, jeans and a sweater and was happy to let everyone present hold little Paris.

At one point Conrad sidled up to Michael and asked if he knew Janet Jackson. ''She's my sister'' Michael replied without taking an ounce of umbrage. ''Do you dance?'' was Conrad's next query. Michael gave a spirited demonstration and the kid was happy.

There was a nanny along for Paris, but [Michael Jackson] insisted on spoon- feeding her himself, in between joining in games with the kids. "He's a really cool dad," said Baron [Kathy Hilton] of Jackson, who has now winged back to his Neverland ranch to spend the holidays with Paris, his son, Prince, and their mom.

I love that...thanks for sharing biggrin

Kid: Do you know Janet Jackson?

Mike: She's my sister?

Kid's real reaction: Yeah right dude!

Mike: I'm for real ...

Kid: Yeah, I bet you're gonna tell me you have the best selling album of all times too ... roles eyes!

aw what a cute story, and he didn't even flinch at the kid not really "knowing" him and knowing janet, I would have felt sad if I was him, but it didn't sound like he did, he truly did understand kids.

It's funny how the last refuge of sane-thinking (or in the area relative thereof) MJ fans is a Prince forum...with a thread devoted entirely to him, along with separate threads devoted to Janet, Jermaine, and even the family in itself. lol

And we're still alive. eek

lol thats because the people here have multiple things to nut out over. i used to frequent the old KOP forum *is it still around* and OMG those people were fucking BONKERS my godd....my 13 year old self DEFINITELY honed my...argument skills round those parts smhh

The KOP still exists.i post there very occasionally, bboy and timmy do too. I think it's improved a lot over what it used to be like.

0.46 seconds. Listen for yourself. And bear in mind this is a LIVE ACAPELLA, not a processed studio vocal.

So fuck you Teddy Riley, for spouting this bullshit - "With the Melodyne, we actually move the stuff up, which is the reason why some of the vibrato sounds a little off or over-processed".

So, Mr. Riley expects us to believe that a heavily digitally processed "Michael" vibrato sounds EXACTLY the same as Jason's NATURAL one, as evidenced in this clip.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

I expect the Estate to learn from the situation with Michael. The album is now out of the Top 25 in the US and it's similar in many other areas around the world

From the looks of things, you don't have to wait confused I'll tell you what, somethings weird going on. Wasn't there some rumor some time ago before he died that MJ was ghostwriting for him?

I don't know. Could've been but I don't see how that's even possible. I think if he was ever asked about Jason, Michael would've been like "who?"

Sony weren't about to promote it anyways. It's like they just released it on a come hell or high water basis. No real thought of promoting. I can't take the excuse Kadir Nelson had for while that mural looked so damn tacky (especially compared to his Marvin painting, which I actually thought was beautiful, still do) because even if Michael had approved of it (funny how all of these stories about Michael approving this and that come out of the blue once he's buried), I doubt they would use the cover in his presence. Maybe this will make them rethink that horrific "duets" idea!

Just like the world would have never known that he ghostwrote "Rhythm Nation" if he hadn't revealed it later on.

Damn, I am 100% convinced now it´s him on the fake tracks.

Uh, he didn't ghostwrite "Rhythm Nation", he said that Janet asked him to use parts of the choreography from "Captain EO" to make "Rhythm Nation" which is cool. It was good because she flipped it around. As for the song, no that's a Janet-Jam-Lewis composition all the way.

I knew it sounded weird and the most logical conclusion was this guy cause he was the only person I knew "sounding" like him so naturally I thought of him, but was never 100% sure, but this one ACAPELLA is like "HELLO?"

Yeah. So even if his Facebook page was "hacked" (only way it would be hacked is if people stole your password and post virus-spreading links), it wouldn't matter. The truth has already been proven on YouTube. lol Who needs Wikileaks for this shit? lol

So apart from the 3 obviously fake tracks: B-News, Monster, H-Tonight.

Anyone else think THE START of "Best of Joy" sounds weird.

A line or two in sounds like a non MJ smurf.

He's going to trial, and his license has been revoked.

Hopefully the beginning of the end.
