whatever...

anyway according to Eleonora74 on MJJC...

The album is still on the way

it's 99.99% coming this year

the title is not known yet

the first single has been decided BUT it will NOT be Another Day

Sony execs heard 4 tracks from the album in the past couple of days

there are plans for a video for the first single

iTunes will launch the first single

I wonder how they are going to pull that off? hmmm

I wonder that too. They may just do the videos like they did Marvin, 2Pac and 'em.

Ugh... lol

I hated how Puffy just put Biggie's image anywhere. lol Besides MJ was already having past images of him in music videos he didn't participate in.

Interesting they're making an animated video. Much like Aaliyah in "I Care 4 U".

I remembered the "Who Is It" video MJ did. He couldn't be there personally because if I'm correct, he was on tour for "Dangerous".

Ok so I need advice on the Hot Toys release of MJ figures.

Has anyone got these?

What is the replication like?

Are they worth the money or am I better off getting the $50 editions.

Thanks

Yes.

Great. Bear in mind when you're looking at blown up pics online, that doesn't represent what you get.

If you want quality, you get what you pay for. I won't be buying those cheaper though! lol

Try googling 'Hot Toys Michael Jackson reviews'. Go from there. You get viewpoints from people that are not particularly fans of MJ but collectors of figures in general too.

As a fan, i wasn't really bothered about what people said, i liked what i saw and knowing the line was one of the last things Michael okayed, well i had to make the effort.

Got the Hot Toys Thriller and Bad figures paid £150 each or thereabouts, Smooth Criminal is due out soon and the Beat It Version will be mine too.

Hot Toys rock. I've got a few from various lines. The pictures don't do them justice.

The "Beat It" figure is supposed to only be available at the anniversary event in Tokyo in Christmas 2010.

Initially. 2000 will be made available worldwide though. Read it on sideshow collectables forum. So if interested, get your credit card out.

Somebody pointed out opening his eyes and sticking some rouge on would improve the facial sculpt. kind of agree.

They're over $100 and are sold at collectable stores. You can probably find them somewhere in the Bay

SONGVEST To Auction Personal Video of Michael Jackson Triumph Tour Rehearsal

###
SongVest, the company that reinvented the music memorabilia business by offering the ultimate fan collectable - the songs themselves; has announced their next major online auction will include memorabilia from Michael Jackson and John Lennon. Items will be auctioned between December 1st and December 18th at www.songvest.com.

###

The featured item for auction is a never before seen video tape of Michael Jackson and the Jacksons rehearsing for their 1981 Triumph Tour. Michael Jackson gave this video to his long time friend, Ron Newt. According to Ron, "The Jackson family was helping launch my son's music group the Newtrons. Michael wanted them to have this tape to show them what it was like to rehearse for a tour event." This personal video, recorded in 1981, is a rare glimpse of Michael at work.
"SongVest is delighted to offer for auction this unique video of Michael Jackson" states Sean Peace, President of SongVest. "Normally we send items like this to our great partners at BackStage Auctions, but this was such a unique opportunity that we felt it fit our unique business model"
The video tape has 64 minutes of Michael and the Jacksons rehearsing for their 1981 Triumph tour. "For the first time, you can see Michael being Michael" states Reggie Calloway, VP Sales at SongVest. "Never before has anyone seen Michael in the raw, uncut and unedited. The right fan is going to cherish the opportunity to own this unique piece of history"

###

For serious bidders, there will be a private showing of selected clips from the video tape. This showing will be announced at a later date in November.
In addition to the tape, SongVest will be offering other items like Michael's Triumph Tour Jacket, a set of bongo drums John Lennon played and more. Make sure you check the website frequently as more unique items will be added in the coming weeks. The auction will end at 3:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 18., 2010. Fans must register in advance of the auction at www.songvest.com.

A Michael Jackson encounter

-----------------------------------------------------------

A me and a buddy of mine met Michael Jackson back in 2001 or 2002. Talked to him for about 10 mins. Was prob the nicest person Ive ever met. Yes pics are 100% real. And yes that is a shower cap and rubber gloves.

It was in Vegas. They opened a jewlery store in the Vanitian for MJ at 1:30am…my buddy and I just happened to be walking by and saw him in there. The store had glass walls. We knocked on the glass and he saw my buddy wearing the shower cap and rubber gloves and started laughing. He walked us along the wall to the front door and came out to talk to us. We got to talk to him for a bit before anyone else noticed. I tried to get him to go have a beer with us but he said his kids were upstairs (srs) so he couldn't. I got him to autograph a pc of paper I had in my pocket. Still have the original pics too. I need to frame em.
