And as much charisma as a toothpick. I find Ciara so dull and her dancing heartless. Technique and versatility aside you got to want to watch someone perform, Janet can do the whole elaborate and intricate performances and the toned-down simple routines and still be more interesting to watch. Same with Aaliyah too. Whereas Ciara puts on these elaborate performances and I'm like

Charisma, stage presence, command of an audience. Some call it the "it" factor or x factor, star power, whatever you want call it, everyone doesn't have it. It can't be learned from books, or taught in a class. It can't be studied from film and emulated either.

Either you have it or you don't. The determining factor is really the people. If people aren't compelled enough to pay attention or care about what you're doing on stage it really doesn't matter how great of a dancer you are because the people aren't watching or being affected by it.
