I have met a few MJ fans on Youtube who would take their fandom so far if you don't agree with them...so sad. I know a few people who don't like Nas or Prince, but I'm not running over to defend them.

Elvis and his handlers DID steal other performers' music. Quite often, in fact. But no more often than any performer of that era. Artists of all colours (though true, more often the white ones) "borrowed" riffs, lyrics and sometimes even entire songs to record and profit off themselves all the damned time. Folks are just pissed that Presley got big from doing it, is the only difference. But that's for another thread.

My point is, he actually did have a few self-penned songs in his catalogue. So to say he never wrote anything of his own is untrue.

Those guys still have fans? Sheesh, I mean those dudes are at least in their 30s by now and broke up a long time ago. I too used to like them but come on, they are so late 90s, early 00s.

I guess she doesn't come on here as much as she used to but, she was some crazy fan who would say all this delusional crap, wrote horrible poems using Prince symbols to replace "I", "you", and "for". She was just crazy. But I agree with the rest, what makes it worse with MJ Fans is that they get more attention than most fanbases. I've lost count of the documentaries that involve MJ fans, and they always use the loudest, dumbest fans because they are more fun to watch. It's just not a true reflection of most MJ fans.

Like I said, some fans of his are mentally unstable, but I think anybody with a huge fanbase has those, like I mentioned, heavy metal fans (Ozzy Ozborne, I'm looking at you)

and if you wanna see rude and ignorant, check out some metal forums, you'll see racial slurs thrown around and really obscene comments. I knew a guy who truly thought any form of music that wasn't rock oriented or metal was shit

I've seen a documentary too. I only know a couple of calm and reasonables ones. 2 on here and a few on other forums.
