yes, I did the top 50 Org albums of all time and it was a ton of work!

The results can be deceiving, given the number of Prince fans, as well as the relatively small number of people who vote, but still it's pretty interesting to see how we all stack up.

I just read that entire thread. lol It was like going to a party with old friends. And have you listened to Hounds of Love yet?

I haven't had a break from my internetting yet!

When I read my comments on that thread now, I realize how much my tastes have grown since then. Mostly because of that thread!

When I read my comments on it, I think "I wrote that?" I have written so much here I have no memory of most of it.

When I read that thread, I think, "Where was I when this was happening?" That thread is full of my org family, not mixed up with a bunch of strange people like now. lol

Really?

I consider, The Dreaming, The Red Shoes, This Womans Work Vol. 1 and 2 and Aerial better albums!

I think Aerialis probably the best, one of my favourite albums ever.

It's an interesting album. I found the first disc to be a strong collection of songs, but my friend, a longtime fan (Ardavan, you met him at Beale Street), hated it as if it was some kind of sellout.

But he loved the second disc, which is more of a cohesive piece of music. I also liked it, but I thought it was not necessarily better than the first one.

I should listen to that, it's been a long time.

I suppose I was officially a newbie when you joined. I still can't seem to elbow my way into the cool-people cliques in GD, even after so many years. sigh Even the newbies think I'm a newbie. sigh
