Some of the Depeche album leaves me cold, and in all honesty, I haven't listened to it in awhile. Maybe I should redo my list. lol

The only album I really, really loved this year was Bill Callahan's Sometimes I Wish We Were an Eagle. I didn't buy much else, and what I did buy didn't really lift my skirt too much.

I am interested in hearing those XX & Bat for Lashes records, & I'll end up getting the Animal Collective album at some point as well.

I don't know how much you'd like either of the first two albums, as they're both kind of "pretty". I quite like them (I like Two Suns more than anything from 2008), though! I'd love for you to hear Don't Stop plus the All Night EP. biggrin

Crackers, the thought of listening to something that could be described as pretty almost makes me sick. lol

I really should give the Annie thing a try. I've actually been playing Fever pretty regularly (it's great for jumping rope), and I've always had a weakness for robo-pop (in small doses).

I'd like to hear that as well. They had an album a few years back that I really enjoyed.

In fact, I think I may have clued into it because you were talking it up here.

Not as incredible as Let's Get Out Of This Country (one of my fave albums of this decade), but still very, very good.

Thank you kind sir. smile

But there has to be a clunker in one of my posts. Ask sosgemini about the time he bought Nellie McKay's first album because I said it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He still hasn't forgiven me for that. lol
