Michael was not ready to do 50 shows. Anyone can see how out of it he looked in
that press conference at the O2. He was addicted to prescription drugs. Michael looked like he didn't even know where he was going when he came out of that Bus on his way to the O2 press conference. He was late 2 hours as well.

Everyone knows how badly painkillers was affecting his health at the end of the Dangerous Tour in 1993.

Randy Phillips is so full of shit lol

I remember as I was watching this announcement live, I had three simultaneous reactions:

1) Hooray, it's Michael. smile
2) LOL! That title is brilliant! lol
3) What?! The songs "fans" want to hear/see? That means he's gonna try to do all of his difficult choreography from past performances. eek NOOOOO! mad

Just like his rehearsal video briefly showed. Copycat posted his wardrobe and it proved his shows hadn't changed much, it was the same old HIStory show.

I'm sorry but his face looks so thin and emaciated. Like his cheeks are withdrawn and his lips are chapped which could mean dehydration. Not his best pic. I bet the shades are hiding dialated pupils too. sad Poor Mikey.

they chose the ugliest pic they could get.

No, they just chose not to airbrush the shit out of it (which he probably had contracted whenever he gave an interview w/ photos). confused

I don´t know what you´re all complaining about. He had kids and had to deal with the stupid allegations, I wonder how creative would you be during that time. I´d be happy to be alive.

Even if Michael had children, and has had troubled phases of his life.

There's no doubt in mind that painkillers destroyed Michael Jackson. Anybody who resorts to prolonged drug use for such long period of time is clearly troubled. It takes a toll on person's mind and body after some point.

Hey guys, I know I´ve been off for a week and missed a lot of "news", but was there an official report that MJ was truly addicted to anything in the last few years/months. Cause I plan to wait for the official autopsy results in order to make conclusions. I am not saying he did not have that problem, but I just want official information.

I don't know if it was confirmed but people said MJ was still using prescription drugs (in some small dosages) and was having them inject during rehearsals. Stuff like Demerol and Oxycontin, but his "doctor" and his lawyer "denied" it.

I thought there was an initial coroner's report that mentioned all these drugs in his system but I think that was just hearsay. So far just folks who knew him when blahblah saying all this shit about him using drug after drug and in great quantity. I'm bout pissed at these claims of 40 xanax every night. Impossible. He woulda been dead after the first night.

I never had a clue that Michael was suffering from prescription meds! When the molestation cases came up I never watched that showdown either. As far as Michael being gay, the gay community are VERY familiar with their own kind! If the gaydar goes off then there it is....

He didn't have normal interest in a woman. I read that Jermaine Jackson and his brothers were wondering if Michael would turn out gay. Way back in the day when they were meeting women and falling in love Michael was simply not interested. They begin to wonder about his sexuality then. I believe if Michael had to choose to go on a date with a beautiful woman, he'd choose to spray super soaker water guns with children instead!

Thanks Timmy. So nothing official, just rumours. Then I don´t understand why some people over here present his alleged addiction as a fact.

In documents obtained by TMZ.com, it's revealed a number of medicines were found, including super-strong painkiller Demerol, steroid Prednisone, sedative Versed, as well as oxygen tanks and bags of milky substances, consistent with the use of dangerous anaesthetic Propofol. Demerol and Propofil, in particular, have been suggested as causes of Jackson's sudden cardiac arrest on 25 June (09). The drugs were prescribed by a number of different medics. Michael has been abusing for a while now, I can't believe his tiny body held up this long!

It's being said that Michael was known for agreeing to an agreement and backing out in the last minute.

Meanwhile, toxicology tests carried out on the singer's body reportedly showed lethal levels of the painkillers Demerol and heroin substitute Methadone in his system before he died.

Preliminary toxicology reports submitted to the Los Angeles county coroner's office also showed high levels of anti-anxiety drug Xanax, "significant" amounts of painkiller Dilaudid, lower levels of Propofol - allegedly used by the singer as a sleeping aid - plus "therapeutic" levels of strong painkillers Fentanyl and Vicodin, anti-anxiety tablet Valium and sleeping drug Ambien.

A source said: "Michael Jackson was a walking drug store when he died - he never stood a chance.

The body can build up extreme tolerances to huge doses of drugs but eventually it overloads and just shuts down. That is what happened to Michael."

CHILD SERVICES VISIT THE JACKSONS

Los Angeles Child Protective Services officials visited the Jackson family compound in Encino on Saturday (11Jul09) to make sure MICHAEL JACKSON's orphaned kids were in good care.
The late King of Pop's mother, Katherine, has been given temporary guardianship of Prince Michael I, Paris and Prince Michael II, and will learn if she'll get full custody of her grandkids next week (20Jul09).
The Child Protective Services investigators' routine visit came just over two weeks following the pop star's death (25Jun09).
Sources insist it is customary for the agency to check on children who have lost a parent in an accidental, mysterious or suspicious death. No was called to the home. sad

SECRET DEAL TO KEEP JACKSON KIDS AWAY FROM JOE

MICHAEL JACKSON's mother KATHERINE and his ex-wife DEBBIE ROWE have agreed a secret deal to keep family patriarch JOE away from the star's three children, according to reports.
A custody hearing for Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II, aka Blanket, was scheduled for Monday (13Jul09) in Los Angeles.
But court officials have confirmed it has now been postponed until 20 July (09), at the request of Katherine Jackson and Rowe - who is the biological mother of the two eldest children.
The two women are attempting to put their differences aside and reach a custody agreement whereby Katherine will bring the children up while Rowe will have regular access.
Rowe and Katherine want to ensure Jackson's father, who Michael accused of beating him as a child, does not get access to the children after he was reported as saying he wants to turn them into stars like their late father.
Jackson's former wife, who gave up her custody rights to her two children in 1999, is reportedly considering applying for a restraining order to legally bar Joe from contacting the kids.
A source tells Britain's Sunday Mirror, "The last thing she wanted was for those kids to be looked after by Joe and go through what Michael went through. When they were together Michael poured out his heart about how much he loathed Joe for what he had done. And Katherine knows it's best for the children if they can settle it between themselves and keep it all out of courts.
"They can't stop Joseph seeing the kids at family functions and parties, but they can and will fight to prevent him having any formal role whatsoever in their upbringing."

I hope this is true!

JACKSON TRIBUTE PLANNED FOR LAS VEGAS

MICHAEL JACKSON's life will be celebrated in Las Vegas with a special tribute show on 29 August (09) - the day the superstar would have turned 51.
The benefit concert will feature performances from castmembers of the current stage shows on the Sin City Strip, including Jersey Boys actor Erich Bergen.
Other stars are expected to be announced before the August event.
Proceeds from the show, which will be held in The Pearl Theatre at the Palms Hotel and Casino, will be donated to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, an initiative Jackson contributed to that helps improve music education in public schools.
The Thriller legend died after suffering a cardiac arrest in Los Angeles on 25 June (09) at the age of 50.

Are people forgetting that Joe Jackson is darn-near 80 years old? This is not 1965. He is too old to be as harsh and aggressive as Michael stated he was in the 60s and 70s. I really don't believe he would harm those children if they were ever in his presence, and the tabloids are sensationalizing an issue that really isn't significant now.

If they should worry about anyone's "temper," it's Debbie Rowe's. That lady just screams impatience and hostility. confused

PARIS WRITES LETTERS TO DECEASED DAD EVERY DAY

MICHAEL JACKSON's daughter PARIS is so devastated about her father's death she has been writing him letters every day since he died.
The 11 year old, who broke hearts when she teared up as spoke at her late father's memorial service in front of millions of viewers on Tuesday (07Jul09), has decorated her room with images of her dad and written him daily notes since his death last month (25Jun09).
Jackson's sister La Toya says, "She wears Michael T-shirts every day and the walls of her room are covered with posters and pictures of her daddy. She still writes him letters every day, sweet lovely letters about how much she loves him. Her letters are brilliant. When you read them you cry."
The late star's 53-year-old sibling also revealed his daughter bought him a 'mood' chain that she placed in his coffin before he was buried.
The necklace had a metal heart on it that changes colour when it touches someone's skin - and Paris has kept half of it so she can wear it "forever".
La Toya adds, "The heart is in two pieces. Paris told me, 'I want one half to go to daddy and I will wear the other half forever'. She carefully wrapped it around his wrist. She said, 'Daddy, this is for you'... I put one of his sequined gloves in there. And a pair of his favourite sunglasses."
