In regards to Quincy, while i agree with him, this just wasn’t the time.

I think you have to be fanblind not to see that MJ did indeed have self image problems among the myriad of other shit.
As to the questions of why Q has the hots for young white women is another amateur psych thread for us to ponder.

With the outpouring of grief by MJ‘s massive thongs of fans, restraint by the folks inside his circus should be extended.

Yeah, it's funny to hear Quincy say mike didn't want to be black when he exclusively dated white women.

I can agree with that! Quincy's children or bi-racial. He didn't get with a white woman to have a white male sperm donor to produce white children either. I date outside of my race, it's whatever you like. Quincy likes young white girls and he's old enough to be their grandfather that is sick to me. If they want his old ass so be it. Money talks...

I dont know why I didn't anticipate this, but folks are already putting the staples center codes on sale at ebay. I wonder what percentage of those registered for the lottery did so, soley with this purpose in mind?

Michael Jackson's murder fearsBy BANG Showbiz
July 1 2009
UPI
Michael Jackson feared someone was trying to kill him shortly before he died.

The pop superstar was reportedly terrified of being murdered for his money or the music publishing rights he owned, which included his own work and over 200 songs from the Beatles back catalogue. The rights are estimated to be worth over £600 million.

Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxman said: "He feared somebody wanted to kill him. He was even concerned people would kill him to somehow try to take control of the Beatles back catalogue."

Oxman also claims family members believed Michael - who died of a suspected cardiac arrest last Thursday (25.06.09) - was deliberately being kept in a drugged state by people aiming to manipulate him.

He added: "He appeared to be taking a variety of strong narcotics, and many of those drugs were obtained in the names of his staff and associates.

"While the people around him insist they were acting in his best interest, the drugs were used to control and manipulate Michael - and the drugs eventually killed him.

"His family has asked Los Angeles police to investigate. A team has already started probing his finances."

Michael's autopsy did not determine a cause of death but ruled out foul play.

However a leaked report of the autopsy alleges the 50-year-old star had nothing in his stomach other than drugs.

Michael is believed to have been taking a cocktail of painkillers, anti-anxiety tablets, anti-depressants and muscle relaxants - including Vicodin, Dialudid, Xanax, Soma, Prilosec, Paxil, Demerol and Zoloft.

The Jackson family demanded another private autopsy soon afterward, which has allegedly proved no more conclusive.

Michael fans, are you guys able to listen to his songs? I wonder if i'm the only one who couldn't bear to listen to his songs? For the first few days after he passed I couldn't. I couldn't even look at a pic of him on TV without getting emotional.

I can listen to most of his songs now though. I still cry a bit when I hear songs like "You Are Not Alone","Who's Lovin You", "Man In The Mirror" and others (mainly ballads), but listening to him is actually helping. I'm listening to "I'll Be There" right now and it's sad, but comforting at the same time. I just love hearing his voice.

As a matter of fact, I had a J5 cd in the player when I heard the news. I played it while I shed a few tears.

It's interesting to see how many different perspectives people have of Mike. It makes me wonder how the children who are born after he died will view the musical world without MJ in it.

To most of you he was already the King of Pop Icon by the time you came along. For those of us in his age group who were around during the J5 years, we still have those memories of what it was like in those days. Remember, this was immediately after the civil rights era when we could finally "say it loud". Not only did the Jackson family entertain us, we were proud of them for so many reasons! The were the first group of young, inner city guys to blow up in this new era of freedom and it was a hopeful time for us kids. Mike was more like one of us than an icon at that time.

When Mike and then Jermaine went solo it was a blow to me. There was no internet to go online and get information so people could understand what had happened and it was widely assumed that ego and manipulation got the better of them. I was not pleased.

During those years I had a bittersweet view of Michael. While I admired what he was building for himself and I still dug his music, I resented him for what I felt he had destroyed. When the transformations and other bizarre behavior began I was even more confused and sometimes downright angry at what he was doing to himself. Turning himself white after all that our people had fought for? I didn't know what to make of it because Mike wasn't talking and the only bit of news you could get was from the Enquirer...there weren't even other major tabloids and entertainment shows at the time.

Still, I never did stop following his career and buying his music. When he finally began to speak up in interviews, I was able to gain a little more insight into and understanding of some of his issues. I learned a lot more from various articles, books and the internet. That was good and bad because now there was so much information that you didn't know who or what to believe anymore.

In the aftermath of his passing I struggle to balance the phenominally gifted entertainer who gave so much joy to so many with the troubled man who had become a prisoner of his own fame. Like I said before, I never gave up hope that he would be around long enough to get it together one day...not for his fans or anyone else but himself and his children. The real tragedy and sorrow I feel is that I'm not sure he ever found that peace for himself before he left this earth.

Gone too soon indeed.
Sleep in peace Mike.

Yeah, he could have at least saved his two dollar analysis till the man was laid to rest. The only thing his words can accomplish now is to hurt Michael's grieving loved ones...classy.

Well it was just a rehearsal So the game face wasn't on, but he did look rail thin.

yeah too thin

I thought I was the only person who caught that. Michael did not look HEALTHY at all on those rehearsal tapes. In fact they said that he was showing up hours late and in a stupor...For somebody as dedicated a Michael to do that something's up!

Whilst not a Madonna fan, I give her full respect for giving MJ a fitting tribute in her show. You can tell she was sincere about it.

I also loved Ne-Yo and Beyonce's nods during the Essence festival.

Surprisingly I like NeYo's tributes the best. He's doing Mike justice while keeping it simple.

anyone else have this game? I sadly don't have it anymore because it was in a box with my sega and my brother sold it before I had time to take the game out lol

it was pretty easy once you got the hang of it, i'd play it over and over again on two player so when I beat it with the first player i could play it thru with the 2nd player in the red suit. giggle

it always puzzled me why the cover has Michael in a red shirt while he never wears the outfit but with a blue shit in Moonwalker/Smooth Criminal hmmm was that from rehearsals or something?

Probably many people, sadly. Scalping was guaranteed, but they did limit some of it by sending the tickets out so late.

This is going to be a nightmare all around.

The people showing up must have a ticket and a wristband. Maybe that will cut down on some of the BS.

Also, maybe someone will report the ebay scalpers.
