When Michael Jackson invites you to work on music with him, you go to wherever he's recording. Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas went to Ireland for Jackson. When he got hungry, Jackson took him to the drive through.
"I'm like, 'I'm hungry,'" Will recalled. "He says, 'Why don't you take the horse? Take the horse and pick apples. It's wonderful. We love doing it. The horses love going apple picking.' I'm like, 'All right, I'll f*cking go.' I swear to God. I'm on a f*cking horse. Michael Jackson's like, 'Wow, it's great.' The horse is picking apples. I'm like picking apples and junk, putting them in a bag. I'm like wow, this is like picking apples with Michael Jackson on horseback. Look at that ish, right?"
With all those excursions going on, did they get any recording done? "I don't know what he's going to use from what we've done, but I have memories. The stuff I did on Thriller 25 is up. If he uses any of the original things that we've done, great. If he didn't, I have my memories and the things that we've done is awesome. I learned so much from the dude. He's cool."
For those who got those highly sought after tickets for Jackson's 50 shows, Will vouches for the fellow musician's chops. Michael's still got it. "He was in my house. It's one thing you hear rumors, but when the guy's in your house, laying on your floor as you're playing beats, he's like, 'Will.i.am, I love this beat.' He's laying and his feet are up on the chair, he's kicking his feet. I'm like dude, Michael Jackson's laying on my floor. He's testing his voice and three hours has passed. He's just mi mi mi mi mi mi mi mi mi, mi mi mi mi mi mi mi mi mi. He's doing both voice testing just to sing for five minutes. He's testing his voice for three hours to sing for five minutes. I don't know. Fergie don't do that ish. Usher don't do that ish. None of the people that you think still got it do that. I've seen it, in my house. That's because he's a perfectionist and he just likes testing his voice. I'm like, 'Dude, can we record now? Because it's three hours, and it's only going take five minutes.' 'No, I just want to warm it up.' Like dude, that's hot. It's warmed up. And he has it. I've seen it. He mi mi mi'd for three hours. Perfect pitch

Nice read. Thanks again!
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Sued Again! Jacko Can't Win
Filed under: Legal Matters > Michael Jackson

With Jacko's highly-publicized payday from his sold out residency in London, all sorts of relics from Michael's past are coming out of the woodwork!

And they're collecting!

Former Playboy Playmate Ola Ray, who starred beside Jackson in his legendary Thriller video in 1983, is suing Jacko for breech of contract!!

Ray claims she was never paid royalties for her role in the vid!

But why did the playmate wait 26 years to make the claim?????

Girl would have been better off suin' the pants off Michael back in the Dangerous days!

I really like this pic from the (now locked) "Latoya could have been as big as Janet!" thread.

It's nice to see a fairly current pic of Janet and LaToya hanging out together. It would've been an even nicer pic without Jermaine in it. biggrin

I think these were part of the recent auction of MJ stuff; the stuff was exhibited, but ultimately the auction was called off. so presumably the books are from his library.

Looks like Ola Ray isnt the only one suing Mike this week...

Michael Jackson Sued by Former Rep

Posted May 6th 2009 4:04PM by TMZ Staff

The woman who used to speak for Michael Jackson when he got sued ...is now suing him -- joining the long line of people who claim they were stiffed by the King of Pop.

In a statement, Raymone Bain explains, "Mr. Jackson has elected not to honor the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter. I am sincerely disappointed in Mr. Jackson's failure to honor his obligations."

Bain repped Jackson for many years -- shouldn't she know this is how he rolls?

Calls to Jacko's new people have not been returned.

Story developing ...

She'll have to get in line behind Ola, John Landis and whomever else is suing him at the moment.

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Jackson Sued By Longtime Rep

Posted on May 06, 2009 @ 14:58

Michael Jackson’s legal woes continue to mount. Now the King Of Pop’s longtime spokesperson Raymone Bain is suing him. Raymone just filed a lawsuit in Washington D.C. saying she wants Michael to pay up. In a statement Raymone tells RadarOnline.com:

“It is with deep regret that I find myself at this place, having to file a lawsuit against my longtime employer, and someone whom I have greatly admired and respected, Michael Jackson.

“Mr. Jackson and I have had a long, productive and mutually beneficial business relationship.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Jackson has elected not to honor the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter. I am sincerely disappointed in Mr. Jackson’s failure to honor his obligations.

“This lawsuit will result in some discussion about the relationship between Mr. Jackson and me. Hypothetical theories, accusations and rumors, if gauging from the past, will be many. However, all of these will be replaced in court with the truth.

In 2005, Bain was fired by Michael’s brother Randy just days before the singer’s acquittal on child molestation charges. But, in 2006 she was made General Manager of the Michael Jackson Company.

“Mr. Jackson and I have had a long, productive and mutually beneficial business relationship.

Here is a transcript of her video statement:

Washington, DC (May 5, 2009) …… “It is with deep regret that I find myself in this place, having to file a lawsuit against my longtime employer, and someone whom I have greatly admired and respected, Michael Jackson.

“Over the years, as Mr. Jackson’s Spokesperson and General Manager, sometimes during periods of critical and adverse circumstances, I have been his voice to media, fans, supporters, business interests and associates as well as those who dislike, misunderstand and constantly malign him. I have also been the constant defender against those who have, in the past,
attacked him in any fashion or form. Regardless of who you are, I believe you are entitled to a brief explanation about why I felt compelled, at this time, to take the action I have taken.

“Mr. Jackson and I have had a long, productive and mutually beneficial business relationship.

“We have experienced quite a lot together, from the child molestation trial in Santa Maria, to transitions from the United States to Bahrain, Bahrain to Ireland, Ireland back to the United States…and, all in between. At almost every step of the way, we have had constant detractors and naysayers. Throughout this relationship, I did not look at him as just a client, but a family
member, a fact that I, and others who were a part of the Jackson team, always considered, when making numerous personal sacrifices, and when making any decisions which would affect him and his children. For this reason, many of you will not understand my actions.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Jackson has elected not to honor the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter. I have done everything possible to avoid this unhappiness and distraction…I have been left no choice.

“This lawsuit will result in some discussion about the relationship between Mr. Jackson and me. Hypothetical theories, accusations and rumors, if gauging from the past, will be many. However, all of these will be replaced in court with the truth.

“On a personal note, I would like to thank all of the individuals who have given so much of their time, assistance and effort, to help me throughout the Jackson years. To the Jackson fans who have written letters to me, thank you, and I wish you all the best.

“Despite the action I have been compelled to take for professional and business reasons, when looking back, I have no regrets. Michael Jackson, in my opinion, is the ‘King of Pop,’ and I wish him, and his family, only the very best.”
