Favorite mid-late 80's girl-Janet, Jody, Karyn or Pebbles? From the mid-late 80's, 4 women really ruled the r&b stations:

Cant say. But I know pebbles is my least fav. Both her first and second albums were kinda average. Never liked "girlfriend", though "giving you the benefit" is good though. "And it echoes down the mountainside

Going with Janet for favourite all time, but for the 80's period, going with Jody all the way, and Karyn comes close.

Janet. Jody's debut is just as good an album as Control in my books, though.
Janet's tour starts September 10th in Vancouver, and I am SO EXCITED!

I actually quite like all four, but Janet is among my top 10 artists, while none of the other ladies, fun as they are, would make my top 100. Once upon a time, in a deep dark forest, an old woman, tappin' her toes...
