i hate that cover
i hate it why not with that pose just have a lollipop sticking out of your crotch madonna why hard candy boxing has nothing to do with candy there could be a better juxtapositon of tough and sweet the focus/concept is wrong and the font doesn't work could have been so much better however i love the boxing themed pictures, and the one in the ring would make a great poster

i hate it I guess to an extent it borders on being too safe for her standards. This is taking in consideration what we're used to seeing from her. It's a safe sado outfit w/a candy cane backing.

It's such a shame for a guy like me who's always been the biggest Madonna fan since day one to see her act like a girl just to gain some attention...
She's 50, and I honestly don't give a f*** about the way she looks or act or the way she'll look like on her album cover, 'cause I've always been and will be interested in her MUSIC, and the way she evolves as a singer. Seeing her open-mouthed, provocative on HC cover makes me so sad. That's not what I want from her, 'cause I know that she's able to give us so much more, great music for example. And I don't respect who makes such a fuzz about this crap. I want good music, I want her to use her voice from her heart, I want a message to follow, not her sexy poster on my wall. HC was made to please the American audience, but how does she think she can please ME, loyal fan, with this laughable/depressing image? She's 50, and I want her to be a woman in music, not a "girl" on magazine covers. Then, she's the first one to cry about the fact that she's not taken seriously. As the say: if you want your guests to appreciate your living room, don't spend all your time in the kitchen, or something like that Timbaland, Timberlake... oh my god She couldn't go any lower

Ok.I don't like the cover and I haven't bought a Madonna album since Music and I found Confessions on a dancefloor a real sell-
out...but I did like some of the hits ( Jump,Hung up). But when I see this tracklist AND the producers she worked with on this album I really get excited! I'm a big fan of Timbaland and even more from Parrel, I heard a fragment of the new single and I love it. Commercial,sell-out ? Maybe, but I'll buy it anyway! Love4oneanother

I tell ya what, I'm not a huge fan of Madonna's, but yeah.. the woman knows how to pick her team. The pic? She looks good for a near 50-year-old. Is she 50 yet? For the most part of her career, she seems to have always been in great physical shape. The only thing is I hope she doesn't become this characature of her past self. With all due respect, Madonna is starting to look like Faye Dunnaway which isn't a bad thing necessarily but.. I dunno. It's just like Cher.. I really like Cher, but when I see pics of her I often wonder what she would have looked like if she had let herself age naturally. It's like Cher.. (and I guess Madonna(??) want to remain how they looked when they were 25? I guess that's the price of being a female pop star. [Edited 3/15/08 4:50am]

Im not sure what to make of it - is it perfect - is it a damn mess? Looks to me like the original photo was taken sitting down, and they've photoshopped it to make it look like she's lying on a bed of Candy. Its certainly nothing like as iconic as True Blue, Like A Virgin or Ray of Light, but i guess it kind of fits for the music she's making. Its hardly high art so why should the cover be so?

THE COVER IS REVEALED!!!!! : Damn, I wish I could figure out how to post pics right click the image on the webpage and go to "properties" then copy and paste the image url to here (a jpg, gif, etc.). then put [img] [/img] on either side of the URL. it's easy "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

She will be in August. "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

Ok, I'll say it LOUD AND CLEAR: the cover is embarrassing and clearly amateurish.
Her hair is terrible, she should have appeared with her mouth closed, and the boxing pants are lame. Easily the WORST cover of her entire career. Compare this cover with the cover of Like a Virgin; both covers try to show a sexy, hungry-for-cock Madonna, but the LAV cover is elegant and restrained, not tongue-in-check and embarrassing as the HC one Since I'm not mad with 4 minutes and the title-track, and I HATE the cover, I think I won't buy the album

that album cover is all kinds of tacky. surely that's just a fake cover released by the record company to keep the real one secret. [Edited 3/15/08 7:27am]

aside from the font the cover is pretty fierce, I gotta say. They could have easily left the words off the cover and been done with it. The background and M speak for themselves.
I don't get all the hate. Madonna hasn't changed who she is or what she does. I mean if you don't like her by now, you never will. I give her props at still going at it in full force at 50. There have been no lulls or drags in her carreer. Christian Zombie Vampires

Yeah,it's definitely inspired by the 80s.When I first saw the cover, the song that immediately popped into my head is "Give It To Me",which is very 80s-sounding.I heard a clip of it the other day,and now that I see the cover,I can understand why Madonna almost titled the album after that track.

Do not purchase the japanese version from amazon.com! Go here: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/...WPCR-12880 It's cheaper. The service is great and it will arrive in one week to your house via EMS. Here's an example (album plus EMS service (3 to 6 days delivery): USA: US$ 38.78 Europe: 26.75 Euros UK: GBP 20.35 Don't get robbed by amazon...It will arrive later and will be more expensive thanks for the heads-up.Do you have any info about the "Special Edition"? Any bonus tracks?

ok I have heard most of the cut of the new song. The song is ...ok. It sounds like a Timberlake song with her duetting with him. DOesn't sound like a madonna song at all. It almost reminds me of some of the music from Duran Duran's last album. I can see the younger generation loving this song. Long time fans are going to have a hard time with it.
Not terrible, but not what I was expecting. I'll reserve the rest of my judgement for when the album comes out. Christian Zombie Vampires

After getting a UK Picture Disc release for the latest singles from Confessions On A Dance Floor it appears Warner Music UK will definitely spoil fans and collectors even more with a limited edition picture disc release of Madonna's new single "4 minutes" as well. This time the format chosen won't be 12" but a 7" picture disc release. "There is no such thing in life as normal..."

Yeah, cause dance pop is killing on the US charts! This is maybe a sellout (and a one-off....she ain't going to do shit again!). I don't know that Madonna really can expect to get good numbers again. It's an experiment. She seems drifting. We'll have to wait and here but I'm not optimistic. I used to like Timbaland years ago with Missy, Ginuwine and Aaliyah, but it's stretching thin lately.
