Are you kidding? calling the man a paedophile and every other derogatory name you can come up with is'nt hate? i suppose when you are used to doing a certain thing, you no longer are able to recognize it.... you need to peruse some of the very threads that exists on this forum!

Those terse comments come from only a few members like eletricblue, shygirl.. I know how it may seem to you, but there is little real hate, some jokes, but this board has many fans which is why there are so many threads.

I don't get waht you mean?

I have seen comments here, you cannot deny it, Most of the opinions are framed from gossip trash and tabliods, the biggest example is just here in the the MJ livin in filth thread, some of the orgers love the tabloids when it comes to Mj and they do believe its right.....they need to put the personal stuff aside and appreaciate the music.....

Please point me to all the hateful post by orgers in that thread. rolleyes

i dont have a problem with fans of any artists acting a lil fanatical sometimes, but MJ fans tend to be a lil crazy with it. its one thing to claim to love everything your fav artist does musically but when MJ fans start making excuses for his inappropriate and possibly criminal activities in his personal life, or when they say bullshit like...he looks really good ill ,well thats when it crosses the line.

I don't know of any fan who believes that MJ has been involved in any criminal activities. Personally, if I even had an ounce of doubt about Michael and these fake allegations, I would not be a fan. I can say that with certainty because from the evidence that I have seen and read, there is no way in hell that he has been involved in any of the allegations that these people have made about him. Not only does it take researching and investigation for facts; it takes a lot of common sense. The one thing that I love about MJ's fans is that the majority of us don't just sit back and accept what the media or detractors say about him. We did that with the case. Before the trial had even started, MJ fans knew everything there was to know about the characters involved in the false allegations. We knew about every ruling and every filing before the trial started. That doesn't make me or any MJ fan fanatical, it makes us aware, intelligent and willing to go by facts, instead of rumors, innuendo and gossip. I would rather have a person on my team who is knowledgeable of the facts, instead of someone who depends on rumors and innuendo.

I am not talking about the court case, I know the facts of the court case and I understand why he was found NOT Guilty. However, I also understand why people see him as a Pedo and why people think he is a "weird freak". You can't blame everything onto the media. The media were not the ones who told him to invite young children into his room and his bed(even his lawyers could not dispute this) on a constant basis, any fool will know sooner or later a scandel will blow up out of it; and it did twice. And in the first case it has never really been resolve because there was an out of court settlement, that alone left a cloud over MJ head, yet fans you like continue to blame such incidents on the media, even though MJ was in control of the kind of lifestyle he has choose to live.

The media never told him to mess up his once natural, attractive face. It's no use saying to Oprah infront of a worldwide audience 10 years on that you have vitiligo when the world saw him transform from an attractive looking African-American man to an ambigious looking white woman. Did Michael really believe the whole wide world would aacept this explanation after seeing his features as well as his skin changing simultaneously confused

The media can only use the ammunition you give them and over the last 25 years intentionally or untentionally Michael has given the media many bullets for them to shoot him down with.

As for his music, well I too prefer the earlier stuff, simply because he just sounds a whole lot more organic singing Rock With You or Human Nature than he does singing Speed Demon or The Lost Children or Heal the world. Having said that he is in the great position in being one of the very few artist out there who is truely diverse. But he probably could have got a whole more out of his solo career if he didn't have 5 years gaps in between his music.[/.

I notice that you like to generalize all MJ fans. You do the same thing on that other board too. We do not all make excuses for every little thing MJ does. I too can see why people think he is a pedophille and if I hadn't read about those cases I would think the same exact thing because it's true that

No one forced MJ to hang out w/kids all the time-That was his own doing and this ended up ruining his reputation for life.

No one forced him to get plastic surgery but he did it and now his looks are always being scrutinized and ridiculed. I personally don't see the problem with him getting the nose jobs though because he wasn't happy with it. I feel like if you aren't happy with something you should fix it.

Anyway YES Michael HAS TO take blame for these things but it is enough already. He is treated worse than ANY serial killer. I don't think he deserves it. I know people who aren't even fans of his and are tired of reading all the negative bulls*t. Michael hasn't been doing any outrageous stunts lately and has been keeping a low profile for the past few years yet they wont leave him alone and wont stop trashing him all the time. I mean I am not expecting them to praise him because I don't expect someone who has been accused twice of molestation to gain mainstream acceptance by the media or the general public alike ever again to be honest but I do wish they would back off and leave him in peace at least.

As far as his music goes, I too wish MJ didn't take so long in between albums because I believe for someoene who has been in the business for as long as he has, he should have had at least 10 proper albums out by now.

For your information I rarely post at other MJ forums. Although I have been to the MJNO and the MJJf forums and seen how defensive they are there. And the reason why you don't get MJ fans talking about other artists, with the exception of comparing MJ treatment with R.Kelly treatment, is becacause most of them are too obsesse with MJ to see the merits of other artists.

And I have to agree with Ligilsh, for most MJ fans on those forums you can't discuss much about MJ pre Bad. Those forums are really for Michael Jackson fans from the Bad era onwards. If you really analyze all the popular Michael jackson forums out there the whole ethos is to promote this white looking/ambigious Michael Jackson who is the King of Pop. That's why many of the fans on those forums things he looked his best after he completely changed himself, thats why they can only have a good, solid discussion about albums from Thriller to Invincible.

The fact of the matter is you get a better version about the range of Michael from 1969 to the present date on a Prince forum, where the posters are obviously older and have a better grasp of Michael Jackson overall career.

But alot of these people who post these things are probably Michael Jackson fans in the first place. When I first came to the Org I was surprised by the number of MJ topics over here, but over time I noticed most of the topics were started by Michael Jackson fans. And although there are a few vicious orgers here who have nothing good to say about Michael, all in all I believe alot of orgers have a greater and more balance view into Michael career than most of his current batch of hard-core fans.

Well that's what I am trying to say. I am not talking about the most recent article about him "Living in filth", I am talking about topics about MJ in general; they are usually started by MJ either to big him up or to still make him seem relevant(which he is in a way). But then you have the fans like Skycute whose only real mission here is to defend MJ anytime she/he feels someone is criticising MJ (although I do get some of her/his points about the media) and to blame the media for all Michael woes, even though his own actions are part of the reasons why the media treat him shabbily.

True, but it is usually the same people. But quite frankly I have had some of the most interesting discussions on MJ music on this forum, especially the older music. I had quite a good response from a Triumph/Destiny topic I started once, yes there was some negatitvity but overall people were balance in their discussion. You try and start a discussion over at a MJJf about a Jacksons album you get a muted response wink

mad mad mad mad mad mad even if you don't like the cover, why put a negative spin on it, accept it for what it is and move on.

There was even a quote from Chris Cornell complimenting MJ a couple of days ago. I saw it posted on MJJForum and one person wasn't satisfied with his praise just because he called MJ a "good musician" in his sentence. Basically, if you're not totally licking his balls, it's unacceptable dead

It was in German so here's the translation:

Chris Cornell doesn't like the way the media is treating Michael. He just loves the king of pop. He told FHM-magazine: "If he's on top or not, why bother about that? Jackson is and will always be a good musician, although he wasn't always lucky in the past. He'll always be an icon. I heard that he's working on a new album right now. If he ever needs help he can call me anytime.

You all call it making excuses, I call it looking at the facts which is something a lot of people FAIL to do when it comes to MJ. Time and time again, I have asked people who believe that MJ is guilty and label him a pedophille to tell me what their reasoning is and as usual they don't have nothing substantial to say. Just the same lame insults and no facts to back it up.

I do not think it's right to label and condemn anyone without knowing facts. Even with R. Kelly who I felt might have been guilty all along, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt at first...And eventhough I like a few of his songs, I am not a fan of his by any means but when I heard everyone making jokes about him I refused to label him a pedophille until I learned the facts of the case and when there seemed to be overwhelming evidence to support the fact that he is a pedo only then did I come to the conclusion that he was in fact a child molestor.

You will call MJ fans crazy for looking at the facts of those cases and supporting him based on that, but some of you hate Michael so much that you refuse to see the truth about anything and will only look for the negative in any and every situation involving him.

Exactly and most MJ fans who believe that he's innocent actually know a lot more about those cases than the general public. If more people just used common sense they would see that those cases don't even add up.

1)What pedophille molests children only ONCE every 10 years? Going by the logic of some people, MJ should get ready to strike again in 2013, huh? rolleyes. I mean it doesn't even make any sense whatsoever.

2)Pedophille's normally seek out there victims. In the case of MJ, both of those accusers families are the ones who sought out Michael Jackson not the other way around. And both of those families just happened to be greedy, lying, money grubbers and oppurtunists.

3)The mother of the accuser in the 2003 case accused her husband 12 years earlier of molesting their daughter and trying to hold her and her kids hostage, then years later she accuses MJ of doing the same thing to her son? Come on, I'm not buying this for a second.

4)The father in that 1993 case actually helped to write a book with his brother called "Michael Jackson was My lover" which is a disgusting and filthy book that has since been banned in the U.S. about his son's relationship with MJ. Now what parent would try to profit off of something like that?

5)Why did Jordan Chandler refuse to testify in the trial against MJ? And why does he have a best friend who is a huge MJ fan? I mean you'd think he wouldn't want anything to do with anyone who likes Michael period.

I mean absolutely none of this adds up to me.
