I was thinking of some singers but then the title of the thread is "musicians" so...I guess figured they weren't "musicians" shrug

I guess so...but I really don't agree. I could learn to play the piano....but I can't learn to sing if I don't have a nice voice. (which I don't) I'm not saying it's not equally important because it is. I just don't think of a singer as a musician. just my opinion though...

Having a nice voice is different than learning how to use it. Some people's voices are oboes and some are saxophones.

You can have an ugly voice but learn to scat like Ella Fitzgerald and you'd have great command of your instrument.
