What would you think if Prince got on stage too? Would he be selling-out because he was with Usher, or would he be paying respect to the traditional old-school R&B?

disbelief It wouldn't be selling out, because he did it with Beyonce last year anyway. It would suck, however. Please, no!

Gretchen Wilson must be thanking her lucky stars that she didn't beat him out twice for that. She'd be cut up in a hundred pieces in the back of his trunk. He was pissed when he lost it to her at some other show.

Did you catch his pre-Grammy interview? He kept stumbling over his words and kinda acted like a jerk. What's up with him tonight?

I did. I did. I kept thinking, Kanyes on something, Kanyes on something. I hope hes ok in the head. He was fumbling around, playing with his jewelry and clothes in the middle of the interview. It was definitly strange.

It was indeed - for something that was broadcast on US primetime tv, that was a remarkably raw, primal performance...

My observations....

1) Adam Levine from Maroon 5 will be one of my sex slaves in the next life. I already thought he was kinda yummy, but the discovery he plays a pretty good guitar has definitely cinched it. nod

2) Medleys and odd artist pairings are so passe. Isn't anyone talented enough to seize our attention for an entire song -- and without sharing the stage with 1000 other artists -- anymore?

3) Someone in the industry still has some sense: Prince won!! woot!

4) Alicia Keys, talented and pretty though she may be, is ABSURDEDLY overrated. Jamie Foxx, on the other hand, continues to impress me... I just hope he doesn't overexpose himself.

5) Tim McGraw sounds awful live. Thank goodness he's at least buff.

6) I think I may have to break down and buy some country music for the first time in years. I enjoyed that set a bit too much; those hillbillies have got me wanting to visit Alabama. lol

7) J Lo is so boring. bored

8) Usher needs to be stopped. I'm so sick of him. I wish he'd get spiritual and fly off to India or Tibet for awhile. confused
