According to Joris, there s plenty of news/leaks regarding PR SDE, including the tracklist, the releaase date, the packaging of the boxset, etc. But only he knows, and he won't share it with you. Honestly, it wouldn't be the worst time of the year to release it. Just ahead of the holiday season. They might be thinking about getting a few additional sales from Christmas shoppers. It does leave the first half of the year completely open though and you'd think a 2CD+Blu-ray Musicology special edition would have been a perfect way of filling that space but that doesn't seem to be on the menu unfortunately.

I personally don't see that pivotal the actual release date anniversary of the album. And a SDE release sometime after the Summer could be more effective sales-wise than at the end of June, when the average Joe is more interested in going on vacation.

Anyway, trying to figure out any pattern or a logic strategic plan from the Estate is futile.

I only said that plenty of info has been posted on other places regearding PR and a potential SDE (that plenty of people herre know about) that you obviously don't know where toi look for.
Regarding what has been shared is not up to me to share on this public board so go ask the guy who shared it.
The only thing I shared last year regading a PR SDE was the same kind of info I shared from a WB rep and a record store for D&P SDE, but you proabably also don't know anything about that unlike alot of people in here that do and even discussed here a year before the announcement of the set.
So don't get all frustrated and annoy people who discuss things you don't know where to look for.

You don't know about the unreleased content audio/video You don't know about the packaging, number of discs You never saw a picture of it. And you don't know about the release date. You didn't even know the estate don't give a shit about the actual anniversary dates The rest is blablablah D&P was first rumored late 2020 in the schkopi podcast " Violet" consacred to the original D&P album. These guys interview insiders such as Michael Howe, Morris Hayes...They re not know-knothing such as you. So from then on, everybody knew it was going to happen in some way ( b-sides had to be sacrified). The first pictures and release date from D&P SDE leaked in february of 2023 IIRC. Still nothing like this from Purple Rain SDE, beside there will be an announcement of some kind during the Celebration. Schkopi got the info later than what was shared back in 2019 regrding Diamonds and Love.
You still don't seem to know whre to look for info becuase your BS regarding the release date being first announced officialy or unofficialy in 2023 is hilarious. Back in 2022 the files were already out for the Diamonds and Love set and WB reps were already informing retail chains back in 2021 for it. But you wouldn't know anything about that of course because you were nowhere where these things were discussed.
