I think in the shock of the moment (and I accept that KJ was shocked at that time) you might not be thinking 100% clearly and you might just want to hear the voice of someone you're personally close to. It might take a certain amount of time just to get your head together. It doesn't seem that off-the-wall to me.

So much shock that he was already in touch with a lawyer, and a news station, before Tyka even knew.

I agree 100%. That would be a scary situation to be in.

it shows you how 'close' Prince was to his family... his closest friend of decades knew they were insignificant in his life.

But if you belong to the other camp on the org, then of course it was his family who knew all the intimate details, the whys and wherefores of everything Prince did. No wait, that's what the family would like us to believe, buoyed on no doubt by their social media supporters.

People like you and me though are 'jealous haters' - as someone recently referred to us - who just want Prince to be wrong. See, it's down to our own inadequacies. Something like that.

The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!

Bear with me for a moment:
I am a hospice caregiver and sometimes deal with patients who unfortunately have little or no contact with their families. There have been a few occasions when a person has passed and I, too, have called my family before I have contacted next of kin for two reasons:
1). In a situation like that, a patient generally becomes like a family member with the caregiver and their family
2). It can be very difficult calling someone you've never met/barely know to give them news of that magnitude.
With that said, in the very beginning, I could understand Kirk calling his wife. But once I read through the transcripts and saw the rest of the calls...(and I'm really trying hard not to judge here) I don't think it was that frame of mind which led him to calling Pheadra, etc. They were all trying to get their stories in order. That is so just wrong and shady...him calling a lawyer first says it all.
Also to think it was Kirk who also alerted tmz at Walgreens, and wonder about the Moline and what media he contacted then. No one would have known it was P someone had to call and give info.

After finally reading Judith Hill's transcript, she does descibe Prince being in a darker/deprerssed manner. She states that he made remarks about if he was not there for the summer concerts to make sure she will be there (paraphrasing). Even the detective asked about suicisde or depression, Judith stated 50/50. Interesting.

So, Prince did not use a credit card. We now know he used cash. So, I would assume it would have been difficult for Prince to purchase pills online with out a credit card. Paypal type of accounts could be traced to banks, that would have left some trail. Prince could have gave cash to someone in his inner circle to procure the pills, or Prince could have sent cash via fedex/ups to receive the pills in the same manner.

Cash is hard to trace, but if Prince paid via an account, there would be some odd transactions that may stand out, on a pattern (ie every 2 months or 4 months).

Judith said he took 2 pills from the bayer bottle on the plane. Prince blames the narcan for his condition. She also said Prince told her he mixed the pills. He never said percocets, only what was in the bayer. We do not know if Prince had fentanyl in his system in Moline, no bloodwork was done per Prince. Could he have taken 1 pill from the aleve bottle (no fentanyl) and 1 from the bayer (fentanyl) and this caused the od?

Was there any confirmation that the black bag only had the bayer bottle and not any other bottles during the Moline flight?

I have a suspicion these pills came from the Dark Web.

You use bit coins which are encripted, and everything on the Dark Web is encrypted.

There would be no way to trace any transactions.

Don't you mean Kirk had a human supplier...Prince had no clue...

What do you mean? No matter where Prince was getting his pills and whether or not he knew they were counterfeit, he definitely knew he wasn't getting them legally (prescribed to him by a doctor and filled at a pharmacy)

Most of us are dealing with it. Buying drugs illegally does not make one evil. Selling them illegally might. I have stated that P buying them illegally (when its been stated by others that doctors were willing to give him prescription drugs in the past) might indicate a desperate man who can not find the kind of enablers/doctors who will do that for him "legally". I honestly think it would not have been as hard as people think for P to get those drugs himself. He probably knew a lot of people who were in the industry dealing with chronic pain issues who were on that shit. Hell, maybe Chaka and Prince went to the same supplier. Remember Chaka went through rehab recently for fentanyl addiction.

I am sure they heard the calls going out on the scanner for the emergency at PP.

At 10;17 he called his ex wife, for 2 minutes 23 seconds.

Diana Frappier (atty) who works with Phaedra called KJ at 10;19, 38 seconds voice, KJ called her back at 10;19 37 seconds, voice.

10;28 Ex wife texted.

10;31 & 10;38 KJ's sister called.

At 10;41 he called Tyka 2 seconds, voice.

AT 10;57 am came the first call from Inez Perez with Fox 9 News. She called 2 times, and he called the number back 2 times....that's just the beginning of it. She called several, several times, and he called her back.

At 10;57 he called Larry Graham 3 seconds voice.

At 10;57 he called Dellena Graham, Larry's wife for 2 minutes 7 seconds.

AND starting at 9;46 am, there were calls to and from his girlfriend.

I really wish I could get these phone records posted here. So everyone can see it.

Am I just naive? but none of these calls seem that insiduous. The calls were too short to seem like people planning out alibis and fake stories. It sounds like his phone was lit up that day.

The longest calls (that you reported here anyhow) were to his ex-wife and to Graham's wife. The laywer call was short. The Fox New caller kept lighting his phone up over and over again. Not sure why she had his phone number...well, maybe it was because he had been doing damage control with that Molene flight earlier that week and she still knew his number.

The only one of these that strikes me as potentially questionable are the calls to the reporter -- but he might have been desperately trying to keep them from reporting anything until he could contact family etc.

-

The thing is, Kirk and Prince were probably more like family to each other in most ways than Prince was with his various (half)siblings.

-

Not defending Kirk in general, but I give some latitude to someone who just discovered the dead body of his friend of 30+ years. I personally don't think that's something Kirk wanted or expected that day.

Now for Meron's phone records. Meron's phone records regarding minutes or seconds are a little confusing, it doesn't say which. just 9 or 40.

9;20 and 9;21am Hazelton Addiction Center was calling Meron.

9;46 was a call from Phaedra for 9 minutes or 9 seconds?

9;47 Meron called Hannah Ford 3rd Eye Girl

9;48 Hannah called Meron back. It says 40 seconds.

10;20 and 10;21 Meron called Phaedra 1 minute, or 1 second, and then for 33 seconds.

Exactly. Kirk was used to protecting Prince's privacy. He might have been on automatic pilot doing the same after he died. He might have been trying to keep the reporters at bay.

Maybe Meron and Phaedra are shady in some ways but from all accounts, Meron freaked the F out when she found his body. Maybe everyone was just freaking out. Remember Phaedra and Meron had been arranging for the rehab and were invested in the situation beforehand. Maybe, they were collaborating on alibis and stories but maybe they were just freaking out necause the rehab had so utterly failed.

They probably found him a bit earlier than that. I doubt they would know the exact time when they found him. Can you imagine finding a dead body and a second later checking your watch to establish what time the body was found. It was probably an estimate--retroactively stated. Plus, Andrew pronounced P dead to the rest of the folks there before they called 9-11 due to the rigor in his arm so Kirk didn't think to call 9-11 to basically bring a coroner. The med-student probably just let the EMT's confirm and establish that he had died due to the need for full disclosure from a licensed professional, so it was official.

It is all an estimate, but the phone records give the exact times.

So what?

You are looking at the most obvious.

Was it 10;15 when he was pronounced deceased? And 9;45 when they found him? Because at 9;44 he called Phaedra, that's probably when they found him. Why would he call Phadera instead of 911?

Andrew had to call 911.

It was 10.07 according to the Death Certificate..

I remember this becasue

a) thats the time I was BORN

and

B) I always thought that the Time of death meant the TIME OF DEATH

and NOT the Time it was pronounced...

for some reason I awlasy thought that an ME was able to determine the approx

time of death from the autopsy...

Must have watched too many crime stories..
