I mentioned this before. I think the placement of the swab notation on AK's warrent means they swabbed Andrew's hands and neck to see that there was no drug residue (meaning to check whether he handled any drugs). Neck would be appropriate, didn't Andrew have a beard? Just a thought.

I don't think that Prince or anyone who obtained them for him, knew that they were cut with fentynl. I think they were just buying the real deal. I don't even know if Prince knew they were street drugs.

Or Russian assassination pills eek . How many entertainers have died of so called overdoses ?

Knowing how many America's are hooked on opoids, it's certainly possible. What a way to take out a chunk of our population "under the radar". You never know.

Good point. And so many people here on the org don't see the big picture of what is really going on in the world. Even though Prince tried to tell them , they still don't believe.

why would they swab Andrew's neck? BTW, I have so many typos because this is my third device that has started malfunctioning since I started saying ... P was killed by .....

The swab was NOT noted on Andrew's warrant.

It was noted on the warrant with all the meds found at PP.

Swabs taken on P is protocol.

DNA swabs of the neck and hands are routine parts of death investigations.

Thanks yes it was listed on the meds warrant.
I'm not in LE sorry if this is obvious but I did not know that was protocol...and to put it on a warrant dated on 4-21?
To clarify the swabs were off of Prince and were at the Hennepin Coroners office.

When talking about who is responsible for the fentanyl that killed Prince, consider this--

https://www.washingtonpos...b8bb195f82

"In December 2006, Scott Gottlieb did something unusual for a deputy commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration: He joined other FDA officials who tried to help a pharmaceutical company secure more fentanyl for a powerful painkiller product.

"The company, Cephalon, was running short of the opioid it put in a lollipop designed for the intense pain of some cancer patients, according to interviews and documents obtained by The Washington Post. But Cephalon was also under investigation at the time for illegally pushing doctors to prescribe the drug for other uses, from headaches to back pain.

"Gottlieb is the Trump administration’s nominee to head the FDA."

He is poised to be confirmed tomorrow.

I learned a few weeks ago that when Prince was found in his Paisley Park elevator last year when he passed away, that his shirt and pants were on backwards and that his socks were on inside-out. SOMETHING fishy had to have gone on there.

Yes because the poisoning, or overdose would cause cardiac arrest ,I think. I don't really want to look it up but I'm sure heart failure is one of the things that happen when you overdose then fluid backs up in the lungs then a froth starts coming out your mouth and sometimes nose

Dr. K's attorney's comment is perplexing. I wonder where he got that from? Was that just his assumption of Prince's condition? Makes ya wonder!

.

I agree. I don't believe Prince was addicted to pain meds either -- he was trying to manage his pain.

Thanks for the welcome! As for me I can only guess at why the Dr's lawyer chose those words. My assumption simply from legal practice myself is that was lawyer speak. I know it's nature to pore over each word but we don't know the entire context of the lawyers full statements to the press (spoken, not a written statement), whether the quote was prefaced by anything before that and left out and so on. Like I said, it might just be his words based on what a lawyer may think was a grave medical condition. I doubt he got the phrase from his client.

Definitely protocol. And in this case would have revealed ( I assume) opioid residue on hands. I say assume bc fentanyl leaves residue for a number of hours. ( that's why non opioid tolerant people should not touch without gloves).

Welcome to the org sablepom! And wow! What a first post!

Are you still taking chemo? A lot of the patients that I work with have peripheral neuropathy, and I know cold can really make that pain worse. Just wanted to say, if your neuropathy is in your legs or feet, one of my patients found that having a space heater directed at her feet and legs really helped her to cope with that pain. And I've had to take the pain pills off and on since I was 17 when I was first diagnosed with DVTs and PEs. At one point, I was dependent upon them and noticed that I was having to take more to get pain relief. It was when I realized that in which I began to wean myself off of them. I didn't like needing to take more and more to get pain relief. I still have to take them off and on, but only when the pain is impacting my ability to function daily. Otherwise I just grin and bear it and plow through the pain. That's why I feel that Prince didn't have an addiction but was dependent upon them. With an addiction, he would not have continued to produce in the way he was because it would have definitely impacted his work. With dependency, you still function and work, but need the pain medication to decrease the pain to enable you to keep working.

Also, I hadn't thought about the meaning of "grave medical emergency" being something different from the lawyer perspective. I just felt that it was really a way of protecting his client and any decisions he might of made in treating Prince. But you made a very valid point with that. Thank you.

[Edited 4/26/17 7:05am]

Thanks benni, no I've been out of chemo for three years now and as for the neuropathy pain yes- cold, wet, large temp changes all drive me crazy. I have a number of techniques for pain management aside from just pain meds. I also take gabapentin and another receptor blocking drug. I have it badly in glove/stocking form. Taxane based treatment will never be an option in future bc of my sensitivity to that chemo regime. As for meds I have a neurologist through Cancer clinic who monitors my pain meds regime. It took me two years to agree to one of them out of stigma. Honestly on a scale the entire regime brings me to around a 5 of ten on the pain scale. I just power through and have those good/bad hours/days. It gives me immense sympathy as to what Prince may have gone through. I also think the hip pain talked about may be simplistic as to what exactly the pain was from. I wonder if it was also nerve damage as part of the hip issue. Which would be excruciating as we both know. I believe there is much we don't know here. And probably won't.

I have done a lot of research on Fentanyl. It's been used by the U.S. Military and Russia for a long time. Chemical warfare. Many people refuse to believe this stuff exists, but it does. We've had this discussion many times on the Org and also the woman who performed Prince's autopsy has an extensive background in Fentanyl.

That's tragic what happened to your mom and I'm so sorry. .... my dad took Dilaudid , a strong opioid. He didn't have pain. I guess he was using them to sleep. Weird thing, I actually just found out that was the cause. The first coroner report said natural causes. When the official death certificate was ready 6 months after his death, I ordered it but never read it. I thought it was just an official thing of the same thing I already had. Then , a month ago, I looked at it and the top said AMENDED !! Cause of death toxicity of the drug, cause of death accidental o.d. SO , Prince's cause of death could be amended also and changed . Has anyone ever seen the official death certificate? It probably doesn't exist yet because they're still doing a homicide investigation, therefore, cause of death murder.
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

It probably doesn't exist yet because they're still doing a homicide investigation, therefore, cause of death murder.

.

Thank you. So, he was taking the pills to help him sleep, so he probably had no idea what he was really taking? I know how you feel -- it was incredibly painful to look at my Mother's Death Certificate. I just felt numb inside. You can always org note me; I am here if you need to discuss anything.

.

Yes, Prince's Death Certificate could be amended, if his family requests that. It wouldn't be that hard to do.

Olivia: I'm so sorry. I remember you saying your father passed away, and then your dog, but I didn't know your father died of a opioid overdose. Was he being treated for pain?

My Mom was suffering from COPD for several years, then fell and broke her hip, had to have emergency surgery, then died suddenly about 2-1/2 weeks later. I miss her every day!

I'm sure my dad knew what he was taking. He was probably trying to get a little high and sleep well. Jet lag, Denver in the winter, another lonely boring business trip. He just took a little too much.
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

A while ago we where discussing the people being in Paisley Park and the area not being a crime scene Check out what the Sheriff states at the 16:00 mark about getting a warrant to just process the scence and coming back in a week. That facilty was turned over to the family after that body was removed and it appears from the sheriffs comments that a full search was not done that day just enough for the crime scene.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=McmDZ8DNAGk

I'll call bullshit on this right here (sorry). I personally knew the owner of that pharmaceutical company and there was never a more caring, kind and compassionate human being. His intentions were truly to develop a pain relieving drug for those suffering from cancer. Ironically, he fought and lost his own battle with leukemia several years ago, documenting every ugly step until the day of his death. Nothing sinister in his actions a day in his life.

Actually, she's right.

The chemical agent used in the Moscow theatre hostage crisis of 23 October 2002 has never been definitively revealed by the Russian authorities, though many possible identities have been speculated. An undisclosed incapacitating agent was used by the Russian authorities in order to subdue the Chechen terrorists who had taken control of a crowded theater.

At the time, the agent was surmised to be some sort of surgical anesthetic or chemical weapon. Immediately after the siege, Western media speculated widely as to the identity of the substance that was used to end the siege, and chemicals such as the tranquilizer diazepam (Valium), the anticholinergic BZ, the highly potent oripavine-derived Bentley-series opioid etorphine, another highly potent opioid, such as a fentanyl or an analogue thereof, such as 3-methylfentanil, and the anaesthetic halothane were proposed. Foreign embassies in Moscow issued official requests for more information on the gas to aid in treatment, but were publicly ignored. While still refusing to identify the gas, on October 28, 2002 the Russian government informed the U.S. Embassy of some of the gas's effects. Based on this information and examinations of victims, doctors concluded the gas was a morphine derivative. The Russian media reported the drug was Kolokol-1, either mefentanyl or α-methylfentanil dissolved in a halothane base.

Russia's statement[edit]

Two days after the incident, on October 30, 2002, Russia responded to increasing domestic and international pressure with a statement on the unknown gas by Health Minister Yuri Shevchenko.[2] He identified it as a fentanyl derivative,[3] an extremely powerful opioid. Boris Grebenyuk, the All-Russia Disaster Relief Service chief, said the services used trimethyl phentanylum (3-methylfentanyl, a fentanyl analog that is about 1000 times more potent than morphine, which was manufactured and abused in the former Soviet Union); New Scientist pointed out that 3-methylfentanyl is not a gas but an aerosol.[4] The research made by American scientists into fentanyl derivatives shows that their lethality level surpasses the efficiency of traditional lethal methods: the lethality degree of the chemical weapons used in World War I was 7%, while in the Dubrovka theater it exceeded 15%.[5]

Analysis[edit]

A German toxicology professor who examined several German hostages said that their blood and urine contained halothane, a once-common inhalation anaesthetic which is now seldom used in Western countries, and that it was likely the gas had additional components.[6] No other unusual chemical substances have been detected. However, halothane has a strong odor (although often defined as "pleasant" by comparison with other anesthetic gases). Thus, by the time the whole theatre area would be filled with halothane to a concentration compatible with loss of consciousness (0.5% - 3%), it is likely that Chechens inside would have realized they were being attacked. Additionally, recovery of consciousness is rapid after the flow of gas is interrupted, unlike with high-dose fentanyl administration. Therefore, although halothane might have been a component in the aerosol, it was probably not a major component,[6] or perhaps it was a metabolite of another drug.

It seems to me -- and I'm no lawyer -- that the sheriff is talking about "filing" the warrant in a week and a half, which seems to mean some kind of legal submission of the warrant documents, not the actual execution of the search.

-

This warrant in which the drugs were discovered was issued, and the search was executed, on April 21 (per the dates on the document -- the wararant was signed at 2:26PM and the search occured was at 2:34PM) . The document has a stamp that says "Filed by the State of Minnesota April 27." You can see it here: http://www.mncourts.gov/m...ndex-1.pdf

-

The only other Paisley Park warrant listed was to retrieve the laptop, which happened on April 24, it looks like.
