I imagine that Prince spoiled Andy beyond most of our wildest dreams. Still, something tells me that he eventually did the "push-and-pull" with Andy. I don't think, however, he anticipated that pulling her back would prove to be so difficult.

Not wishing to be rude but do you know Andy, Fly? Why don't you just ask her to confirm the legitimacy of all of these claims you're making? I haven't been following the (rather numerous) threads you've created on this topic, Fly, but I seem to recall you saying that she was very open, honest, and approachable - so why not just ask her?

Andy's just recently started to open up a little bit about their relationship.I've noticed she chooses her words carefully not revealing too much. She still seems very protective over what ever she and Prince shared.

At the risk of being accused of going off-topic, I'll answer your questions, Dibblekins. No, I don't know Andy, other than through social media. BTW, it was not I who said that she is "very open, honest, and approachable"; although, it would not surprise me at all if that were the case. Maybe, I will one day ask her, but for now, I'm enjoying tremendously the speculation. Besides which, I suspect that Prince was right in his lyrics to "2Y. 2D." when he suggested that she would take this "juicy" secret to her grave.
.
He wrote:

.

The world can only wonder right up until
They hear the juicy gossip that’s in her will
Till then we can just pretend that she’s

Old enuff 2 do ya [x3]
But she’s just 2 young 2 dare
2 young 2 dare [x4]

Fotw said she imagines his behavior, not that she knows his behavior. I like imagining him happy also just because it doesn't make me cry like when I think of his baby dying or him dying on the floor of an elevator. Reading this thread is for my own selfish need to not be depressed, because sometimes even when I listen to his beautiful voice it makes me sad, and that ain't good. broken

Thinking about Prince being happily in love makes me smile, too, paisleypearl. He and Andy sure seemed in love at the North Sea Jazz shows in 2011, especially during the "Girl" performance. giggle

@beautyunaffected and all the haters of this thread:

beside the fact that its not up 2 anybody 2 judge what someone else might be obsessed with ... this is a thread like many others. and there's so much gossip, heersay and imagination going on at this org ... don't know where 2 start 2 mention. I personally have nothing 2 do with any kind of speculation. its just not my cup of tea and there4 I don't read it. well ... sometimes I do. but then I know its on my own risk and there's no need 2 blame someone else.

u don't like that thread? it's simple: don't click!
but obviously u did. why? lemme guess: cause criticizing and judging others is what ppl love most right after spreading rumors and speculations. and that kind of behavior is nearly the only 1 making me a little bit mad. especially on a prince forum! even a casual fan knows what he thought about criticism and judgment and how important love and respect 4 every1 was in his life. so if u don't do it 4 the ppl around u (and ur own wellbeing btw) why don't try it out of love and respect 4 the man we honor here?

paisleypearl explained her intention pretty well in post #214 and there's nothing 2 add. we all have our very personal ways 2 grieve and the need 2 share it with others sometimes. that's why we're here. at least some of us I guess. I do it my way on all those picture and gif threads and stuff like that and I'm grateful 4 every1 I can share it with as well as I'm thankful 4 all the rest of orgers that might not understand - just 4 not being total jerks.

so if that's the way 2 deal with their feelings 4 some of us - celebrating a specific era of his life and imagine him happy and in love - well there goes. true or not, no1 of us definitely knows. and it hurts nobody.

Right. They seemed at least to be good friends.Dr Funk said Andy might let him interview her for the podcast. If it happens maybe Andy will clear everything up.Dr Funkenberry said he told her that she didn't have to talk about Prince if she didn't want to though.

Not saying anything categorical adds to the piquancy, the tang of mystique - which can't hurt her / any protege's future record sales.

That's true.Prince did a good job of getting people wondering about his relationship with her too.Announcing on Le Grande Journal that all the clothes he was wearing belonged to Andy. The Sharpie hearts on their fingers and openly flirting with her on stages around the the world. He seemed to want people to talk and to think they were together.Like he wrote for Andy to sing on Superconductor,"As long as they give us the time we'll give them a reason to stare...as long as I got u by my side I really don't care."Not to mention having Andy wear his diamond pinky ring on her ring finger in the Rock and Roll Love Affair and People Pleaser videos.

It's not as visible in the R&R Love Affair vid but Prince made sure everyone saw it in People Pleaser.

In taking the time to watch and analyze this performance, I looked for evidence of the 'sensual' in Mr/Dr PRN and Ms AA's body language, distance/proximity, and eye contact, and the amount of time they stood next to each other at the microphone. Following is the breakdown with the times and described movements:

01:06:03 - Mr/Dr PRN begins to sing solo front-center at the mike

01:06:33 - Ms AA appears onstage, walks up from behind Mr/Dr PRN, then next to him. She puts her left hand on his shoulder. He does not look at her. They begin snapping. She is looking at him, but he is not looking at her. He focusses on the audience

01:06:54 - Mr/Dr PRN introduces Ms AA. She begins to sing. At that moment, he walks to the back near the band leaving Ms AA at the mike by herself

01:07:12 - Mr/Dr PRN walks back to the front, but to the left of Ms AA, then circles her to end on her right side. As he is moving, he is not looking at her and keeps a distance from her and the microphone

01:07:28 - Mr/Dr PRN turns around to face the band and begins playing his guitar. Ms AA is still at the microphone

01:07:36 - Ms AA finishes her solo and walks/dances from the microphone into the background

01:07:52 - Mr/Dr PRN walks back to the microphone whilst playing his guitar. Ms AA remains in the background

01:08:16 - Ms AA reappears at the microphone standing next to Mr/Dr PRN. She sings a line

01:08:21 - Ms AA walks away from the microphone

01:08:22 - Mr/Dr PRN continues at the microphone

01:08:27 - Ms AA comes back to the microphine standing next to Mr/Dr PRN. She sings a line. He steps back from the microphone. Mr/Dr PRN sings a line, Ms AA steps back. Mr/Dr PRN sings another line whilst looking down at his guitar

01:08:35 - Ms AA walks away from the microphone towards the back again

01:08:36 - Mr/Dr PRN continues singing at the microphone for the remainder of the performance. He calls out Mr Maceo Parker for his saxophone solo. He follows this with a brief audience interaction with calls for clapping and snapping. He calls out Ms Ida Nielsen for her bass solo. All the while , Mr/Dr PRN is at the microphone focussing on his guitar solo, scatting, and the audience until the end of the performance. He does not look back to the band or to Ms AA

01:13:30 - Mr/Dr PRN ends the song

Analysis:

1. The total time of the performance (the moment Mr /Dr PRN begins to sing to the end) 01:06:03 - 01:13:30 = 7 minutes, 27 seconds

2. The total amount of time Mr/Dr PRN and Ms AA share at the microphone (proximity): 19 seconds

3. The total amount of time Mr/Dr PRN and Ms AA share distance: 7 minutes, 9 seconds

4. Body contact: Mr/Dr PRN does not touch Ms AA, though she touches him

5. Eye contact: Minimal, Mr/Dr PRN glances at Ms AA a total of three times throughout the performance

Conclusions:

1. There is no 'sensual' in this performance if you take into account the very minimal amount of proximal time, body contact, and eye contact between the two

2. The TRUTH will soon be revealed

3. The thread title is fishing and is much to do about nothing

4. The fiery, snarky retorts from the usuals to this post will commence in 3... 2... 1...

Salaam.

Salaam.

This exactly. The first time I saw this I was confused because I thought I missed the sensual part. falloff

Sorry to disappoint, ladies, but the thread topic limits which photos are applicable. Not to worry, I'll have lots of much better Prince and Andy photos coming up very soon. Stay tuned. Smooches!! heart

Watch his face when she sings Let's Get it On. First when he all manly-like quiets the band with his beautiful hand then smiles and kicks his leg up when she scores. Then he brings the band back up to accent her performance and is so horny he asks the entire audience to dance with him! He needs hundreds of women! Oh yeah that's an alpha right there.
