This is my thought exectly. I will continue to support the music. If we don't do it then future releases may never happen. As far as the inclusion of only one vault track, well....I would like to have seen one or two more but let's face it, this song deserves to stand alone alongside his most well known tracks. It's a special song, we all know that. Now every casual Prince fan in the world will know it too. | |

No. I don't think it's aimed at us, but for either a younger market or more casual fans. I will definitely be buying each and every live album though. I think that's what will be aimed at us. A nice live album for every album tour would be cool. But again, I don't think any of us here are the demo for this set. I already have the Hits the B-sides and even Maximum Prince. One more compilation without anything really new is not aimed at the hardcore fan. ..and a nauseous Moonbeam Levels type outake will only make me want it less. | |

YES! Even tho I own all the songs already in one form or another it's worth it to me for ML. I'm not a completist so i don't own any of his other hits records as they didn't offer anything new. This will be a good collection to play in the company of others who aren't hardcore fans. I spend a lot of time listening to his music by myself. In fact I think this is going to be a big seller as it appeals to a wider audience of fans. I'm guessing they are trying to ride the wave of popularity his passing created amongst the general public. It'll make a great gift this holiday season for generic music lovers. Heck maybe it will even spark some new hardcore fans. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. I think if they're stingy enough to only put ONE new track out, there's no way in hell they're gonna make that track available as a single. It's gonna be "album only" I'm betting, that's the only reason any hardcore fan would buy this, & only hardcore fans care about having a quality version of Moonbeam Levels  that's why I'm prepared to just suck it up & buy it   I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!!
