That was a terrible album indeed. Lotusflower I like (not love). Mplsound is a bunch of blandness. It was one of the few albums of his where I thought he was just going through the motions.

The vinyl supply chain constraints are real, but I don't buy that as the reason why Prince's reissues keep getting delayed. Other artists have no issues with their vinyl releases.

On a side note, I tried to order AOA on vinyl from Amazon on 5/21, and they have been attempting to ship it since then. I think I am going to give up and get it somewhere else.

I have that one. The reissue is actually from 2009. The catalog number on the spine is RI 25110. It is 180 gram and the sound is absolutely excellent. Has nothing to do with the gram weight, but rather because of the Kevin Gray mastering. Any vinyl mastered by him is going to be excellent.
