U can kinda see how Purple Rain pulled from a lot of real events in Prince's life

just reading through this thread, I think a movie based on Vanity 6 and Prince would have been really exciting.
But Purple Rain is also very much shadowing of his relationship with Vanity, the Time, and some other things pulled here and there. I think that kind of reality/fantasy is why the movie is still so much alive today and why those times/music are still so electric

This is one of my favorite Prince outtakes.I don't think it works well for Vanity 6.Prince have should have released it as a B-side for one of the Purple Rain singles.
