This has given me a new appreciation for the song writing on the album. There are some really good song here when you strip away the commercial gloss of the official version.

Well, Hitnrun taught me that the org doesn't like album openers without Prince on vocals. But even if you don't like Million $ Show, it must still be a million times better than a Tony M opener. It was bad enough having him on any of the tracks but one all to himself.

Insatiable is just incredible. Love the original but this eclipses it.

Finally made it all the way through. A merciful lack of Tony M after the first track and I absolutely loved Live 4 Love.

The only thing messing this collection up is the fact that [pretty much] all of the guitar parts are missing from the songs. I can definitely do without Rosie & Tony M. on certain songs. But damn, no guitar???

i wish the guitar solo was at the end of live4love because this version is soooooo nice otherwise.

Diamonds & Pearls, Willing & Able, & Money Don't Matter 2night are all missing the lead guitar parts.

The sound is ultra crisp. Like it so far...

lest anybody be under the mistaken impression that hitnrun was the first crap album that the prince camp has unleashed on us, we are given this as a glaring reminder. ugh.

A lot of his 80's material sounded like demos in the sense that the arrangements were stripped down.

These are demos for sure, many instruments and/or effects are not yet in these mixes

Great to hear! Weird too considering the lack of guitars - so effectively a bunch of rough mixes with basic tracking done. But in superb quality!
