It’s one-third of Vanity 6/ Appollonia 6…Susan Moonsie! She was the quiet persona of the trio and Prince actually created Vanity 6 around her when he put the group together. He allegedly wrote the song about their up and down relationship and it’s also alleged that Prince wrote the song, “Private Joy” about Susan Moonsie as well.

It seems as though Prince was a cheater, and changed girlfriends as much as he changed clothes, shoes, hairstyles, etc. Let's face it, the guy had many girlfriends and didn't last with any of them, so something is definitely wrong there. I love Prince, but I could have never been a girlfriend of his, because I believe in being faithful, and I don't cheat, and would not want to be cheated on.

Nice to see Susan get some shine. I always thought she was the cutest and sweetest of all the Prince ladies and his true first love. I thought it was common knowlege that When Doves Cry was about her.
