Typical prince move. He's so desperate to have a hit. And the mainstream taste is a mess. That song isn't special at all. It's not the music that made me a prince fan, it's rubbish that I usually avoid. Horrible.

Hasn't he always done things tits up tho, goes against what everyone thinks is the obvious logical thing to do. Doing things on a whim, releasing singles without video etc

The obvious thing would have been to release this straight after the New Girl episode, but suppose his timings always been off like in 3121 all the talk of 'going down like the wall of Berlin' as if it was topical but in reality it was nearly 20 years earlier

This song should have had been out the day after the New Girl show not Pretzel, then the 3rdeye shows and then pretzel single. I just hope we get the album whatever shape it's in lol

I love it. This is a top 10 hit. Simple dance pop with some funky horns, Zooey on the hook, nice synth work that reminds me of his early stuff. Nice job! This is the direction I would have taken 5 years ago if I had been him. Hopefully it's not too late. If this doesn't chart high, something's wrong with the chart sampling.
